Aldaron

Aldaron is a planet, and capital world of the nation known as Kurûni, an old ancient word in the ancient Kurûnae language meaning "Covenant of Mages". Its a society ruled by Potent Magi humans leaders. Humans settled the Lotharius Systems and made Aldaron their homeworld and seat of Power. They are a little nation with great ambitions. Mostly tend to be secluded among themselves and tend to avoid foreigners.

The Planet is considered Utopian and was carefully picked among the starts to set the capital of a newly found nation. The Humans were refugees, scapees and runaways that looked for a new home to stablish themselves after the "Long Journey" across the stars. Aldaron has thus a primordial source of connection that allows for many Magi to appear and channel large quantities of power.

Government

Kurûni is ruled by a Conclave, known as the Council of Seven, known as the Tharîn Edrai. This are the top Thaumaturgic practitioners and skilled users of magic in the whole nation, and their seat of power is located in the large city of Merindal, the de facto Capital of the Nation as it holds the seat of power. The Tharîn Edrai rule supreme over the country, having total desition over matters of state, laws, etc...

Ruling the council of Seven is the Belrai, the highest position within the country. It's seat of power is in Aldaron. The Belrai position is temporary and is chosen among the highest Magi, known in the local language as Edrai. The so called Belrai (Highest Magi) has no authority to depose any of the Council members, but has some extra powers that the Council doesnt have. The most important one is deciding on matters of State.

Aldaron is ruled by the Houses of Aekâri (similar to nobility) but based mostly on Thaumaturgic habilities. They ruled supreme on Kurûni and Aldaron is no exception.
