Description

The Namegi Galaxy is a abnormally large irregular galaxy orbiting the Tarmalyula Galaxy, in Amoeni Space. It is the farthest of Tarmalyula's two satellites, as well as the largest. Namegi houses over 5 billion stars, making it one of the largest irregular galaxies in the known universe.

History

Namegi has had three eras in its history - the Ancient Era, the Stellar Era, and the Current Era.

Ancient Era - 14 000 000 000 BCE to 8 000 000 000 BCE

The Ancient Era was a time of war and destruction between the original lifeforms of the galaxy. It was is this time that the Namegi Coalition was founded. Towards the end of the Ancient Era, they embarked on a quest of galactic conquest, and managed to conquer all of Amoeni Space. As the Namegi Coalition fell, they brought life down with it by activating their ultimate weapon - the novae bomb. It connected the hearts of every star with every other star in the Namegi Galaxy, making the galaxy simultaneously go novae. For 6 Billion years, the novae continued, accelerating star formation and making the galaxy a beacon of deadly radiation. And so started the Stellar Era.

Stellar Era - 8 000 000 000 BCE to 2 000 000 000 BCE

During the Stellar Era, there was no life in the Namegi Galaxy. All had been wiped out by the Novae Bomb, and no life from the Lance or Tarmalyula Galaxy could stay there due to the incredibly high amount of radiation. Planets were rare, and the most complex life to evolve on any world in the galaxy was a small moss that grew orbiting a yellow dwarf that only barely counted as part of the galaxy. Finally, after six billion years of continuous star formation and destruction, enriching the galaxy with transition and heavy metals, making life not only possible, but the most probable outcome.
