The smallest Ekrosian Guardians are mere micrometers in length. They are most often cells with tough cellular walls that allow them to resist cosmic radiation and the vacuum. Their solvent varies, but is usually water. They all share identical genetic code despite having wildly different physical structures and biochemistry. These cells can infect individuals unfortunate to accidentally let them into their ships or onto their planet. Microscopic machines are also fairly common. They typically appear to be small devices mimicking current nanotechnology in use.

At the visible scale, small red marble-sized spheres bearing the common symbol are common. They are capable of instantaneous acceleration and deceleration, often moving in random directions at 99% of light speed.

The Ekrosian Guardians are an order comprising of thousands of variations of an individual named, "Eve" that, periodically, will manifest in the intergalactic space around the Sheol Galaxy. They are often hostile to foreign craft, with the largest among them making traversal of certain areas impossible. They vary in size from the scale of microbial life to the scale of megastructures, with a handful measuring at several light years in length. They will never venture into Sheol itself to the point that if forced, they usually die trying to leave. Among them, only a handful exhibit true sapience.

Their commonality makes entering the Sheol Galaxy fairly difficult, especially near regions known as "the galactic poles" on the "north" and "south" ends of the galaxy. These poles exactly correlate with the poles of Ekros, a major planet in the region.

Behavior

A typical Ekrosian Guardian will move about aimlessly in intergalactic space for their entirety of their lifetimes. Based on how they propel themselves, they may move several meters to several kilo-light-years in this time. They rarely move with purpose with only the sapient Guardians ever having true will.
