The quote above was sputtered by Psion Jorn Sash before he entered into a 3-year nightmare-coma, after he withdrew immense power from The Shroud. The result scarred Purged World V into a fiery oblivion. It also morphed most of the landscape, almost braking him entirely. Though, this is not the most power taken from The Shroud's banks. No, it is not even close.
I will discuss that in another chapter, though. The horrors were immense.
Discovery
The Shroud was initially discovered by a group of scientists trying to study the mind. It happened around May 9th, 38684 BCE, where the scientists studied the brain of the late Fra'Asas, whom was a major in almost all fields of science.
