The Seekers and The Seekite people have a deep connection with The Shroud, but don't indulge in it the way Xa'Thins do so. Their connection with The Shroud has allowed them to consume Astral Energy on a regular basis. They are also the only known civilization known to replicate Astral Energy. How this is achieved is unknown. It is theorized that they can protrude into the fourth dimension, and manipulate matter and quantum fluctuations to create the invisible energy source.

Physical Description

Template:Species TemplateSeekites are bipedal crystalline creatures, with a mean height of approximately 4 meters (13.12 feet), and an average weight of roughly 1700 kilograms (3747 pounds). Seekite body structure is very strange, and is comprised of resistant crystals that form into a singular organism. The crystals seem to be separated by unknown means.

The nature of the crystals that comprise Seekites are known to resist untold amounts of heat, pressure, and stress. If you were able to destroy these crystals, you would need the force of a large laser cannon, countless amounts of incinerators, or simply a black hole. It is unknown how the crystals even form into an organism, and how they are so tough. Recorded samples are told to have a mohs hardness scale of 23.6. How this is possible is also unknown.

The structure of the crystals does not match any other crystals seen, and they appear to change with the emotion of a Seekite. The crystals shape can also change, but not the mass. This aspect can be semi-controlled by a few Seekites, and they can create sharp weapons out of their crystals.

How the Seekites crystals appear on the outside actually depends on their level of power within their civilization. The less powerful people, like the impoverished, usually have a smaller amount of crystals. The more powerful people have many crystals, and possibly up to 4 eyes.

Seekites typically come with around 1 to 3 eyes that have the ability to see within the microwave to the radio wave scale. Though, they mostly prefer ultraviolet or visible. The material the Seekites are made of consists of carbon and radioactive crystals, which form into a sapient organism.

Behavior

The Seekites have a slight narcissistic personality, rooting from their empire's vast amounts of power. The Seekite people are actually quite calm, and can strike up a cordial conversation in the right circumstances. But, if you anger one just slightly, they act very brute, and are likely to insult at a given chance.

The Seekers and The Seekite people have a deep connection with The Mist, but don't indulge in it the way Xa'Thins do so. Their connection with The Mist has allowed them to consume Astral Energy on a regular basis. They are also the only known civilization known to replicate Astral Energy. How this is achieved is unknown. It is theorized that they can protrude into the fourth dimension, and manipulate matter and quantum fluctuations to create the invisible energy source.

Studies

When scientists and historians began to study The Seekers, and their behavior, they found the form of government they used to be very complex and strange strange, almost mystical. The populous of Seekies seemed to be thoroughly connected to one or more "Hosts" who would do the empires bidding. The scientists and diplomats also concluded that citizens had high levels of autonomy, yet they all served under the leader, Ghru-ssk-alos. In later discoveries, located sometimes the homes of the citizens, there was constant reminders of the Seekies being "saved" by Ghru-Ssk-Alos. Observers and surveyors today still don't know how Ghru-ssk-alos 'saved' his people, but it must have been a large event that changed everyone's opinion onto liking him. This event was later called The Exodus, a subject for its own time.
