World Types
- Ammonic World, A-Class World
- These frigid worlds are covered by lakes or oceans of liquid ammonia.
- Desertic World, Arid World, D-Class World
- Worlds that have a thin atmosphere and lack any significant surface water.
- Garden World, E-Class World
- These worlds are covered by a rich ecosphere of complex multicellular organisms and are accompanied by an atmosphere and liquid water.
- Hothouse World, Greenhouse World, H-Class World
- Deadly worlds that are blanketed by a dense atmosphere of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide, and tend to be heated to extreme temperatures.
- Ice World, Frozen World, Cryoworld I-Class World
- Worlds that are mostly composed of volatile ices of compounds such as water, carbon dioxide, methane, or others.
- Lavatic World, Igneous World, Molten World L-Class World
- Molten lava makes up a significant part of the surface of these superheated worlds.
- Methanic World, T-Class World
- Cold worlds that are largely composed of rocky material, ice, and bodies of liquid methane.
- Oceanic World, Aquatic World, Water World, O-Class World
- Worlds that are covered by a global ocean of water, usually formed from the inward migration of ice worlds.
- Selenic World, Craterous World, S-Class World
- Barren worlds that lack an atmosphere and tend to be covered in craters that are preserved for millions of years.
- Helium Giant, Helium Diminutive, L-Class World
- These gaseous worlds are mainly composed of helium and typically form when a gas giant is stripped of its hydrogen and methane.
- Hydrogen Giant, Hydrogen Diminutive, J-Class World
- Gaseous worlds that are largely composed of hydrogen and helium alongside other compounds.
- Ice Giant, Ice Diminutive, N-Class World
- Icy gaseous worlds are mainly made of compounds heavier than hydrogen and helium, such as water, ammonia, and methane.
- Ecumenopolis, City World
- A world which is enveloped by a global cityscape.
- Ringworld
- An artificial world built in the shape of a giant ring around either a star or a planet.
- Steelworld
- A colossal megastructure in the form of a metallic planet.>
