Yernna is the third planet within the binary Thelia star system. It is the homeworld of the Kiccatah, a primitive humanoid speices.

General
Yernna is tidally locked to its parent star, which results in a constant day and a constant night side to the planet. The day-side is rich in biodiversity, containing lush rainforests and sprawling mountain ranges with massive rivers flowing through deep valleys. The night-side is plunged in perpetual darkness. An icy wasteland with massive snowstorms blow across this part of the planet. Life is still found here though, some animals have been able to adapt to these harsh conditions and thrive.
Yernna has multiple fresh water seas and lakes, many Kiccatah towns and small cities have sprung up on coastal areas on the day-side. The largest of which is Lago. Lago has the largest Kiccatah population, with over 200,000 inhabitants.
Yernna System Information
Yernna's orbit is only 19 days long, but, due to the planets stationary rotation, the local inhabitants are unaware of Yernna's motion around it's parent star.
Yernna has three moons, Glens Major, Glens Minor, and Okron.
Glens Major is a massive asteroid that formed two billion years ago when a small ring that orbited the planet colessed. It is approx. 200km in diameter and orbits Yernna every 4 hours and 25 minutes at an average distance of 8492.44km. This moon is most significant to the Kiccatah people, it holds religious and spiritual significance and is used as a time-keeping device in conjunction with Glen Minor due to its close proximity to and quick orbit around Yernna.
Glen Minor is, contradictory, slightly larger than Glens Major, but due to its more distant orbit around Yernna, it appears significantly smaller in the Yernnian sky. Glen Minor formed in a similar way to Glen Major, it is 228km in diameter and orbits at an average distance of 12,018km, taking 7 hours and 31 minutes to complete one orbit.
