The Ambrosia Galaxy is a unbarred spiral galaxy located 134 million light-years away from the Milky Way Galaxy. Originally named NGC 7083 it was later named Ambrosia in a public poll due to it's strikingly beautiful appearance. It is the home of 280 billion stars, hundreds of billions of planets, and countless life forms.

In the year 10250 CE a program was proposed to expand the Confederacy of Humanity's reach within the universe even farther, the name of the proposal was the Great Expansion. In this proposal 32 colony ships were to be sent out to relativity close by galaxies, one of those galaxies was the Ambrosia Galaxy.
