Spaceplanes, or shuttles, are small craft that are able to sustain stable flight in both air and space as a result of their aerodynamic build. Their greatest constraint is their size, unable to properly endure the continuum distortions generated by standard Seraph drives. Short-range drives are rigged instead, enabling speedy travel in the vicinity of a celestial body's orbital surroundings, yet incapable of enduring extensive intrastellar travel. In order to reach orbit, mass drivers are commonly employed in larger settlements, vastly reducing the time and fuel usage.

Starcruisers are a vast category of vessels that are too large to sustain flight in air, instead docking at orbital stations or employing spaceplanes to conduct business on celestial bodies. Their specialized construction is easily able to tolerate continuous Seraph drive operation, negate any breaches in rift space, and traverse intergalactic routes. Starcruisers are the backbone of the intergalactic society and single-handedly uphold countless logical enterprises.
