Template:Ambrosia: WorldNirirenda is the second planet of the Brem System in the Unity's Domain region of the Ambrosia Galaxy. It is a terrestrial world with life covering its many islands and oceans. It serves as the birthplace of both the Nirirendinite, and Trus-Jrak' species, two intelligent races with varying levels of technological advancement.

Overview

Nirirenda is a planet that has held very little significance in wider Ambrosian galactic history, but despite this, its story stands as one of the few of its like in the whole of the Ambrosia Galaxy. Originally, Nirirenda was an arid world of endless deserts and lacked any form of native life, however its only major moon, Malfdet, was once a world teeming with life, and served as the home world of the intelligent species known as the Rodrak.

The Rodrak were an extremely violent species, often waging war amongst themselves, and once the invention of nuclear weaponry was made, the constant bloodshed threatened to destroy all life on the moon. To prevent the destruction of all Malfdet life, select Rodrak scientists set up a fail safe that if the moon's temperature raised above a certain level, then various interplanetary canisters containing countless samples of native life would be launched towards the planet of Nirirrenda, ensuring the survival of life as they knew it.

They would become some of the earliest species to join the newly formed Etymology during their early expansion across the wider Unity's Domain, and as such, both Malfdet and Nirirenda would join the fold of their intragalactic empire. However much alike all worlds that made up the Etymology, both Nirirenda and its moon would burn alongside the whole of Ambrosia during the faithful Red Galaxy Event. But thanks to the efforts made by the Rodrak countless years prior, Malfdet life would be launched towards the then desert planet. And with time, Nirirenda would become a haven of life.

Nirirenda now serves as the home world of the Nirirendinite, an early type zero species of bipedal plantoid organisms that primarily inhabit the planet's continent of Niuvia. Along with the Nirirrendinite, the planet also holds the Trus-Jrak', a large intelligent species of tree-like organisms that exist on the small island of Nevon.

However, this aforementioned life is living on borrowed time, as the thin atmosphere of Nirirenda does not provide adequate protection from the constant solar radiation that bombards the surface thanks to the planet's parent star(s) and as a result, has left much of the planet a barren wasteland. If nothing comes to intervene, then within the next one million standard years, all life on the planet may go extinct, a relatively short time frame in cosmological terms.

Geography

Nirirenda holds an odd and perplexing anomalous feature in its respective geography. Like many worlds in the Ambrosia Galaxy, Nirirenda holds many tectonic plates, with around thirteen in total, but despite this, only one traditional: "continent" exists on its surface, meaning that only one landmass on the planet is known to shift and move, with all others appearing static, almost as if they are forced in place. This singular continent is known as Niuvia, and it is both the most life-filled location on Nirirenda, but is also the only place on the whole of the planet where the Nirirendinite are known to exist on.

The overall geographical makeup of Nirirenda is made up of three distinct regions, the largest of which are the massive deserts created thanks to the massive amounts of solar radiation experienced, due to the extremely thin atmosphere of Nirirenda. These deserts are almost entirely devoid of life, save for a few unremarkable single-celled organisms that can withstand the harsh conditions. The many landscape features within the deserts are many impact craters, mountain ranges, rivers and canyons.

The next region of the planet are the large forests of Niri-Blood, the only terrestrial flora on the planet. These forests are positioned towards the coasts of the landmasses they inhabit, as they require the warm ocean current to survive. Here, both the Nirirendinites and the Trus-Jrak' make their respective homes.

And finally, the majority of the planet is made up of large oceans of liquid fresh-water. Here, the vast majority of life on Nirirenda can be found as the water provides them with more protection towards the harsh radiation then the solid surface. But despite this, only around six different organisms are known to inhabit the entirety of the ocean, leaving much of the planet barren.

Climate

As previously stated, Nirirenda experiences extreme amounts of solar radiation due to both its close proximity with its parent star(s), and its extremely thin atmosphere, meaning that almost all radiation the planet experiences during its local year reaches the surface, leaving most of the planet a barren wasteland.

Despite this however, the planet remains fairly calm when it comes to internal climate events, experiencing calm winds and warm temperatures. How the planet keeps a warm temperature in spite of the thin atmosphere is thanks to the tidal forces inflicted upon it by its moon, Malfdet, tugging and pulling the planet, keeping it at a fairly stable temperature. These tidal forces also influence the oceans of the planet, creating massive waves several kilometres high crashing on the shores of the landmass.

Often, the planet will experience large rainstorms, due to massive amounts of water vapor created during the evaporation of water in the oceans. These rainstorms can last for weeks on end, and span several kilometres. For the few life forms that live on the terrestrial landmass of the planet, these rainstorms are essential for their existence, as they require a constant supply of water to live.

Life

The life of Nirirenda varies widely depending on the era one is referring to. Originally, since Nirirenda was almost a mirror-image to that of its moon of Malfdet, the Rodrak would export many of the respective moon's lifeforms planetside during their colonization of the planet. After the Red Galaxy Event, all life on the surface was instantly destroyed, but thanks to the actions done by the Rodrak thousands of years prior, life pods containing Malfdet life were launched towards the planet, allowing for life to continue to exist on the planet.

Unfortunately however, due to the amount of damage done to the atmosphere during the attack, many species would die out as they were unable to withstand the radiation they were now forced to endure. The small handful of species that could survive the radiation eventually evolved into the lifeforms that inhabit the world we see today, eventually adapting to the oceans of liquid water that now inhabited the surface. Sadly though, this life doesn't seem to be built for longevity, as the constant evaporation of the planet's atmosphere inflicts greater radiation upon them.

Along with both the Nirirendinites and the Trus-Jrak', Nirirenda is home to around sixteen other multicellular species, all belonging to the flora classification. The most notable of these life forms would be the: "Niri-Blood," a large flower like organism that dominants major expanses of the planet. Several thousands of unicellular organisms exist on the planet as well.

Population

The population of Nirirenda unsurprisingly is split between the Nirirendinites and the Trus-Jrak'. The majority of the world's population belongs to the Nirirendinites, due to their faster ability to reproduce, with around ten million individuals currently living on the planet, while the Trus-Jrak' only have a population of around five million.

History

Formation

Nirirenda would form alongside its sister-worlds from the planetary accretion disk created during the formation of its parent stars of Brem (A) and Brem (B) in 5,917,502,275 BCE. As it formed, the collection of debris would split in half, forming both the planet of Nirirendia and the moon of Malfdet.

As they formed, the twin worlds were hot hell worlds with a burning surface made up of lava, however over time, the two worlds would begin to cool, forming their own respective thick atmospheres, becoming temperate yet desertic worlds by 5,030,032,042 BCE.

Colonization

In 3,412,594,002 BCE, the Rodrak would fully evolve on the moon of Malfdet, Due to their location, the new species would hold Nirirenda as an object of both cultural and religious reverence, and it would remain as the single most cultural constant object throughout the entire species' history, though the exact nature the planet was viewed as varied depending on each Rodrak in question.

During the Rodrak's early space age, Nirirenda was the main object of their focus, launching robotic probes to the surface. Once it was determined that Nirirenda was naturally hospitable to the Rodrak, plans to colonize the planet were immediately put in place, and the first Rodrak colony would be established on the world in 3,412,540,000 BCE. During the forthcoming years, the Rodrak would colonize every corner of Nirirenda, nearly filling all of the planet's surface with massive towering cities, as well as placing native Malfdet life all across the newly colonized world.

Much later, in 3,399,998,460 BCE, the Rodrak were forced into the fold of the then newly formed Etymology, and both Malfdet and Nirirenda would fall under their governance. Under the Etymology's care, the many cities of Nirirenda would be introduced to technologies far beyond the Rodrak's current technological capabilities, and many foreign species would be allowed to take residence there, turning the planet into a very diverse metropolis.

Evolution of Life

In 604,000,000 BCE, the would fall victim to the faithful wrath of the C.Y.R.E.X during the so called: "Red Galaxy Event," and unfortunately, both Malfdet and Nirirenda would suffer as well. As the C.Y.R.E.X burned the world from above, many pods containing various lifeforms native to Malfdet would be launched towards the planet. Thankfully for this aforementioned life, Nirirenda would almost immediately cool off, due to most of the planet's atmosphere being lost to space during the attack, allowing for these lifeforms to safely land on the planet.

As the planet now lacked the former thick atmosphere it once had, any prospecting asteroid were able to crash into the planet unabated, and thus, once a herd of gravitationally bound icy comets were sent towards Nirirenda, they were able to collide with the surface in 576,670,002 BCE. As they did, they would begin to create massive seas of fresh-water, further cooling down the planet and creating the distinctive islands of Nirirenda.

Throughout millions of years, the native Malfdet life would further evolve into new lifeforms, in order to protect themselves from the increasing radiation inflicted upon them. Unfortunately though, not many of these species were able to adapt in time, leaving the planet with only around five percent of all life that once inhabited its surface. The ultimate apotheoses of this evolution would be the evolution of the intelligent species of the Nirirendinites in 280,000,000 BCE, and the Trus-Jrak' in 200,000,000 BCE.
