The three greater moons of Sirona have been a site of heavy industry, with vast factory towns draining them of their natural resources in order to fund the construction of local infrastructure.

The industry-leading astrohabitation corporation, Orbital Intergalactic, has turned Sirona into a site of thriving expansion, creating countless jobs and opportunities for people across the galaxy. Initially, the corporation constructed outposts in orbit of the planet and on the greater moons; however, it has lately begun to construct enclosed habitats in the clouds of Sirona, supported by hot-air balloons. The moon of Boulder sits farther than any other in Sirona's gravitational sphere of influence, traveling for eons in interstellar space until it was captured in a stable orbit. Unlike the other moons of Sirona, Boulder lacks an atmosphere and is a desolate wasteland of rocks and dust, inhabited only by microbes in the scarce water ice at the poles. What sets the moon apart is its remarkable concentration of rare-earth elements, which are fundamental for the construction of countless vital technologies. As a result, vast extraction sites and factories obscure the barren landscape of Boulder, employing both people and automatons to fuel the industry of expansion in the system of Aya.
