Nox

Heliara is home to all the races in Eclipsebound and is naturally the main planet of the whole tale.

Physical Characteristics

Heliara has not much to say about her appearance, the most notable detail to be mentioned about her is the large supercontinent known as Aetheris. Something else that may be noted is her overwhelming size, easily dwarfing other celestial bodies.

Aetheris on it's own also features a large central mountain known as Mt. Aetherion having been named after the continent it's on.

As Heliara only possesses the single supercontinent, Aetheris, it also has a vast open ocean, this ocean is referred to by 3 different names amongst the 3 main nations on Heliara as listed here;

Solara: Veildeep
Auroria: The Seracine Ocean
Nocturne: The Boundless Expanse.

Moons

Heliara has a singular moon known as Nox. The single moon is white in colour and made of a highly reflective material allowing most of the light hitting it to bounce off and reflect the night side of Heliara.

Biology

Life on Heliara is widely split amongst various groups each upholding their own role in the many ecosystems.

Due to the many life forms and large planet the opportunity arose for multiple lifeforms to gain sentience and build societies. These lifeforms stayed seperated from one another for a number of years before they eventually came across eachother. The meeting of all these lifeforms allowed for them to collaborate though naturally not without a few wars.

Eventually when the species agreed to work together for the betterment of Aetheris and by extent all of Heliara nations began to form.

Resources

Heliara is rich in vast materials, mainly rarer resources such as gold, platinum, diamond, etc.

Due to this overabundance in materials it's safe to say the inhabitants will be well provided for in the years to come.

Minerals

Heliara doesn't possess any minerals specific to the planet however there is a mineral that is new.

This chyrstal is known as Lumenite, a special mineral used to conduct magic into physical objects. Not much in the world currently uses Lumenite though some towns have started using it for lighting and other governments even for weaponry and aiding workers.

History

Heliara has a long and complicated history though most major events started happening after the formation of Aetheris.

Coalition

During these times nations on Heliara descended into fierce wars before forming a coalition known as the Celestial Order. This order established 3 lead nations, Solara, Auroria and Nocturne, each nation would protect their own Celestial Anchor and make sure magic flowed smoothly from the heavens.

The Sundering

The Sundering was a large event in which the Obsidian Choir unleashed the Ecliptic Core upon the world spiraling it into the Shattered Isles, a dark age of over 300 years where Aetheris was broken apart and had magic stripped and warped.

Endings

Corruption

Kaelith gets corrupted by the Mark of the Eclipse and spreads the power of the Ecliptic Core, allowing it to corrupt all of Heliara

Reformed

Kaelith and her little crew overpower Nythera together. Kaelith sacrifices herself to protect the world as a new shielding layer expands around the Ecliptic Core and keeps it hidden from Heliare. The world carefully reforms and regrows.

Cycle

Kaelith and Nythera partner together to make a new world order though nothing is stopped and the Ecliptic Core is bound to ruin Heliara once more.
