Cosmic Union

The Cosmic Union is one of the major Spheres within the Sky River. Founded in the Voidsea by the remnants of it's predecessor, the Solar Union, and the newer Stjarna Union, the Union's history is not neat, but holds claim to being one of several Spheres that technically survived the Technopocolypse, albeit in a newer form.

Unlike several Spheres it finds itself directly neighbouring, the Union is made up of multiple Kinde, sub-Kinde, various colonies, groups, and worlds, all united under the banner of the Union, for mutual benefit, co-operation, and defence. It's initial founding merged the territories of what remained of the Solar Union, and the newly expanding Stjarna Union, meaning that when it first emerged onto the Voidsea, it was already a large and formidable power. As the Sky River grows more and more dangerous, both from natural threats, and the threats posed by nearby Spheres, the Union has found itself enwrapped in a great many conflicts, and dragged into the Eternal War time and time again.

Though the Union has made it clear that it prefers peaceful co-existence, there have been many incidents and conflicts which have proven that when pressed, they are fully capable of being some of the most ruthless fighters in the Sky River. By the 17th Century of the Valhallan Age, like most other Spheres, the Union has become involved perpetually in the conflicts that surround it.

As a major player in the Eternal War, the Comic Union has a great number of enemies - Though it has persisted.
