Internal Defences

An Internal Defence Fleet is a group of ships that patrol a system to keep the system clear of crime. Such fleets consist of up to 10 ships, but some of them can be capital ships.

Republic of Sol Internal Defence

RoSID is a group of RoS government officials who guard the Sol System, keeping it safe from crime. Being the most powerful internal defence fleet owned by any human system, RoSID owns a large fleet of ships, including 3 capital ships, that are scattered mostly around populated areas, but sometimes make trips to the outer solar system. The rest of the fleet is contained within the fleet carrier (FC) Jewel, a colossal ship containing the largest Alcubierre drive produced, capable of a warp factor of 1,000. While the drive is very slow compared to other types, a warp factor of 1,000 allows travel across the system in a matter of days assuming a starting speed of a dozen km/s. No other ship of its size, and even smaller ships, is capable of warp, further making it a powerful ship. The 2 other capital ships are capable of docking with FC Jewel allowing the entire fleet to be transported across the entire solar system in a matter of days.

Fleet:

1. Fleet Carrier "Jewel" - This ship carries the entire fleet, storing the smaller ships inside. It is 350m long, using this space to store the smaller ships. On its rear are two docking pylons on which large vessels can attach themselves to the carrier.
2. Capital Combat Ship "Titanoboa" - This ship is 197m long, capable of carrying many weapons. In combat, it can dish out an absurd amount of damage, making it a formidable ship almost impossible to take down without the use of kamikaze tactics.
3. Capital Construction Ship "Mandalay" - Being 183m long and 145m tall/wide, It capable of storing many materials and components, allowing it to repair nearby ships with efficiency.
