Description

Template:InfoboxPlanetEl'Ora, commonly called Mistling by Humans, is a severely anomalous planet located in the outer-reaches of the Sa'Kia system. El'Ora is most famously known for its anomalous properties, which it gained in the 138th millennium. It is theorized that The Mist decided that El'Ora was a good host for it to passively spread and grow, as there was barely any Xa'Thin life on it prior.

Mist Affiliation

El'Ora is also home to many Mist Spheres, which occasionally arrive to meet up with other Mist Spheres. These entities are also known to release trace amounts of minerals into the air, as a form of exhaust. This is quite unique to El'Ora.

Many professional psions which have entered The Mist near El'Ora have experienced a large feeling of boredom and hopelessness, akin to its past self. This feeling is applied to almost every sapient creature who enters The Mist, at least 500,000 kilometers away from El'Ora.

If a professional psion enters The Mist on El'Ora's surface, they could be met with one of a few things. Many people have described it as glowing lights and spheres, while others have seen El'Ora as a glassy looking sphere, with intrinsic crystals in the interiors. Many psions who wanted to see the areas for themselves were met with empty cave systems, likely caused by mining millennia ago.

Past

El'Ora used to be a small and frigid ice planet, with no notable features. As a result, it was thinly populated, as well as looked over in many situations. The only population of El'Ora were scientists, looking for traces of life. Even those people didn't last long on El'Ora, making it equivalent to Sedna or Haumea in popularity.

El'Ora, for most of its modern existence, has had little to no inhabitants across all of its surface. A theorized underground sea was also absent, making it all the more featureless. Many mining corporations took advantage of this, and illegally strip mining the surface underneath. Once its small amount of resources was exhausted in the 10 millennium, there was no activity on its surface for many years at a time.

When the Xa'Thin Commonwealth was initially created, the new government decided to shine some light to the husk of a world. Many government officials paid travelers and tourists to live on El'Ora, similar to how Humans would pay people to live in the barren lands of the Klondike back in the 2nd Millennium, or Haumea in more modern instances. This made El'Ora have a constant stream of inhabitants, and an overall population of 50 million.
