Template:InfoboxNationThe Shev'ra (meaning "peoples' leaders in the Shevins' language), sometimes called the Shevin Council by Humans, is a prosperous S-Type nation existing within the Sagittarius dwarf spheroidal galaxy.
Description
The Shev'ra holds a mighty grip over 80,000 star systems with countless worlds under its grasp. As of 10k it is an ally of the Confederacy of Borealis, both nations exchanging goods and commerce.
The nation possesses it's own military although it isn't too active as it hasn't encountered any hostile civilisations in its galaxy.
History
The Shev'ra was founded in 3058 after the Shevins had colonised their first extra solar world, Ijiuptos, as they knew that they would need an interstellar nation to manage future colonies, thus, the Shev'ra was born. Over its history, a few other species have joined, making it a "loose" alliance.
As of 100k CE, the Shev'ra is thriving, with countless colonies scattered throughout the Sag dSph galaxy along with some loosely governed ones beyond.
Member species
Aside from the Shevins themselves, a select other species have joined this prosperous nation.
A formerly primitive species native to the tidally locked world of Jaytov, having since been integrated into the Shev'ra. They are tripedal in appearance, having upright bodies and three eyes and highly lanky arms with four spindly fingers.
A space dwelling species inhabiting airless selena worlds. Officially the second race contacted to join the Shev'ra. They are somewhat molluskan in appearance and, having silicon shells and their own exo-suit ships to propel themselves to other systems.
A triple-eyed, quadrupal species from the titan-like moon of Iyatim and were the first intelligent species contacted by Shevins. While one may not suspect it, they are intelligent and had alreay developed advanced spaceflight at the time of their discovery in 3076.
A group of Zythyn colonists to the Sagittarius Dwarf have since joined the Shev'ra, being kindly given a colony of their own known as Loxul. Zythyns are well respected within the Shev'ra, often admired for their influence in the wider Local Group and their wisdom.
As the Sagittarius Dwarf was one of the first galaxies Humans reached beyond the Milky Way, contact with the Shev'ra was imminent. Humans currently inhabit 80 systems and control around 120 in total, their capital being the Archer system.
