Elements (Earlorania)

Elements are the primary abilities that all humanoid, and some non-humanoid, species on Earlorania possess, being able to manipulate aspects of the natural world through the fundamental particles, Kaktonyc Particles. These powers have also been observed to occur naturally on a few other planets throughout the 3rd quadrant of the Maegyto Galaxy.

Earloranian Understanding

Kaktons, or, Kaktonyc Particles are fundamental particles that fall under the Boson category, acting as a force carrier for 3 of the 4 known fundamental forces (Electromagnetism, Strong, Weak nuclear forces). However, unlike other bosons with a single integral spin value (0,1,2...) Kaktons are able to seemingly "switch" these values, "jumping" around between 0 and 1 constantly. This phenomenon coincides with the Kakton's ability to emulate the effects of other fundamental particles, and in some cases, even become a different particle itself. This constant state of quantum superposition has caused suspicion in the scientific community, as it becomes difficult to accurately place the Kakton in the Standard Model, as well as no previous calculations pointing to its existence. Theses qualities of the Kakton have been proven to be somewhat influenced by aether at the least.

Galactic Cluster Understanding

The Galactic cluster classifies the Kakton, or as they call it, Elune, as part of the Ether Model, a model made to classify the numerous fundamental particles that were brought in from the Other during the Convergence. The Elune is part of the Tolth category of Ether fundamental particle, acting as a force manipulator. Due to the origin of Ether fundamental particles, hailing from a separate universe that collided with their own, Elunes do not follow the standard physical and quantum mechanical laws of the universe, rather they follow the laws of the Other.
