Prelude System

The Prelude System is a star system located within the Resonance Nebula, the largest nebula in the Silent Reaches Region of the Ambrosia Galaxy. It served as the home system of the Zheroni species.

Overview

The Prelude System stands as one of the most influential star systems within the Silent Reaches, as it would serve as the harbinger of the Zheroni, the ancient species who would later hold control over a large portion of the galactic region. Along with this, it would also serve as the third overall star system to fall under the faithful wraith of the Bastard of Ambrosia, an individual who was at the time waging a violent crusade across the Silent Reaches of the Ambrosia Galaxy. Due to these factors, the Prelude System stands as holding one of the most dynamic histories within Ambrosia.

The exact political affiliation of the star system has been hotly contested throughout hundreds of millions of years, as the Zheroni have never managed to form a united species government. Thus, the Prelude System and its respective worlds have changed hands multiple times. thanks to the planet of Forevermore being the species' shared world of origin.

Currently, the Prelude System holds a population of around fifty-eight trillion intelligent induvial, with each of its respective planets and major moons being filled to the brim with Zheroni, with almost the entirety of said population being comprised of the aforementioned species, though small pockets of other allied intelligent species are known to exist as well.
