The Nuurian Traditionalists

The Nuurian Traditionalist are a group of Nuurians that followed the common traditions, religions and biological supremacy over machine ideals of their species. They comprise around 57%-60% of the Nuurian species. This group of Nuurians appeared after the Nuurian Schism which divided society about the way the species should follow; The "Machine Path" or the "Biological Path". Nuurian traditionalist are however divided as well, as they have internal conflicts such as religious ones, and where the boundaries of biological experimentation should lie. The Lordship has also some internal conflict between those who want to achieve total Machine-Mind and those who just want to technically advance with robotics and IA but to a limit where it doesnt overpower or swallow them.

This different views led to confrontation between the Lordships, which were seen as radicalists and anarchist revolutionaries, and the Traditionalist, who were seeing as obsolete and decadent, conservative. This divide even resulted in the surgence of two distintive states: The Nuurian Federation, which was Traditionalist and the Lordship of Nuur which appeared as the prevalent doctrine in Nuur and thus became the de-facto capital of the new nation. Ever since both nations have been either at war or in constant state of tension. This was overcome when they both entered into conflict with the Hwila.

The Traditionalists follow traditions and are not very much into mechanical technology. They have focus themselves on biological advancements (Such as flesh-made spaceships) and have a democratic approach to rule. The Old Religions have a strong presence. They are grouped together in the Nuurian Federation.
