Thebes System

Thebes is a binary system, with two Suns, Thebes A a Yellow Dwarf Star and Thebes B, a Red Dwarf Star. The system belongs to the Heptarchy of Orion and is the home system of the Capital of the Nation, the Planet Astarte.

The System was colonized by five colony ships from Earth. The system had been deeply studied from afar previous to departure, and the Planet Astarte was selected as the perfect spot for a colony after slight terraformation. Probes and machinery were sent to the planet to stabilized its atmosphere and prepare the world for human habitation. This was opposed by many on earth as it was disrupting alien local life. During the Hibernation trip to the system, the Humans on board were also genetically modified to be prepared for colonization.

The Total Population of the System is 9 Billion people as of 2985.

Thebes A

The Thebes A system has a total of 8 worlds, of which 3 are gas giants and 5 are rocky planets. These are in order: Bergelmir (Gas Giant), Irilon, Jotun (Gas Giant), Astarte, Osiris, Hades, Ymir (Gas Giant) and Cinis.

The Total population of the System is currently 7,5 Billion, of which 5 Billion are in Astarte and other 2,5 billion are scattered all over the system. it is by far the most populated of both systems.

Bergelmir: Due to its proximity to the sun, the world is losing is gas material. Due to this, several domes have been installed in the nearby areas to collect this gases. Also it's two moons have been settled. All the stations and domes in both moons, amount for a population of 212 million people.
Irilon: Has a total population of 190 million. The economy on this moon is based on three pillars, Mineral extraction, energy production and scientific research. It is a rocky selena, with no atmosphere. Most inhabitants have to live in domes.
Jotun: Has a total population of 302 million people
Astarte: Its the capital of the Heptarchy and its the most populated world of this nation. They have a total population of 5 billion and its the heart of both Thebes A and Thebes B System.
Osiris: A terraformed world, it has a population of 800 million. Fresh water is either frozen or in large underground deposits. This has allowed the colony to survive. It is the main center of Laboratories, experimental and military facilities. Also most of the planet economic activity is centered around mining, factory production and chemicals.
Hades: The total population of this world is 326 million
Ymir: A Gas giant, famous for its rings. It has a total of 16 moons, of which some are colonized. Many space stations have been built over the rings for mining and gas extraction. It is also a popular tourist destination. The total amount of population is 411 million.
Cinis: The Planet has 17 moons, of which two are considerably large. It has a total population of 304 million dedicated exclusively to mining, with many other inhabitants supporting hydroponic cultivation and daily needs of the settlers. Cinis holds some Colonization departments and travel facilities.

Thebes B

The Thebes B system has a total of 9 worlds, of which 3 are gas giants and 6 are rocky planets. The areas follow: Anu, Enil, Skirmir, Aurgon (Gas Giant), Soladan, Vili (Gas Giant), Tergon, Buri (Gas Giant) and Gerd.

The total population of the System is 1,3 Billion inhabitants.

Anu: Has around 53 million people
Enlil: Has a total population of 80 million inhabitants
Skirmir: Has a total of 102 million settlers. This accounts to the
Aurgon: Has the second largest colony of the Thebes B system, with about 224 million settlers.
Soladan: The total population is the smallest one, at around 42 million.
Vili: Has around 110 million settlers in several domes.
Tergon: Has the largest population with about 414 million inhabitants on the planet and its moons.
Buri: It holds the third biggest population on Thebes B, with a total of 186 million settlers counting orbital gas extraction domes and colonies in its moons.
Gerd: It has the fourth biggest population, hosting about 143 million people. This counts both, the planet and its moons.

Others satellites

Orbiting both Suns, are a Gas Giant, known as Cerules and a rocky world known as Irkalla. It has a total population of 201 million people.

Cerules: Is a gas giant with several gas extracting domes and a large military facility. There is also some ship building industry, ship repairing and refuel facilities. It has a total of 113 million inhabitants.
Irkalla: Its the last outpost of the Thebes System, it is the main connecting hub and travel departure destination towards the other systems and Terran Worlds of the Heptarchy. It has a total of 88 million inhabitants.
