Type-000-11 Savior Verethragna

Overview

The Type-000-11, Savior Verethragna, is a variant, and the 11th model of the Type-000 Savior line of experimental MECH Fighters. It was designed to test new, mobile, long-range, high-velocity, helical railguns which were previously only able to be used as static defenses or on large maritime and space vessels. Alongside this, the Verethragna was made to test ground-based transformable technology, allowing it to quickly transform from a bipedal, humanoid form, to a multi-tracked, tank-like one. It was operated by the Korin combat frame operator, Kuth Achebe.

Technology & Design

The Verethragna's Savior Frame was modified to accommodate its transformable capabilities and the large railguns on its shoulders, as such, its frame was equipped with larger motors both at the joints, and in key locations for the transforming process. This allowed the Verethragna, despite its bulky shape, greater flexibility in comparison to the other Savior frames.

The shoulders of the Verethragna were significantly bulked up to accommodate the recoil, and the railguns themselves. Hydraulic systems were installed alongside them to enable the cannons to rotate horizontally to either engage multiple enemies, or focus both on single target. These were installed atop a hydraulic trunnion system that allowed the cannons to depress up to -90° (to enable firing while transformed), and elevate up to 70°.

The Model-134 is a helical railgun developed by the Koris Kingdom. The gun is based on miniaturizing the design of railguns used on static defenses and large maritime and space faring ships. The Model-134 can cycle between computer-guided Air-burst Pressure rounds (ABP), Super Armor Piercing Fin-Stabilized rounds (SAPFS)
