Lumi is a frozen moon encircling the ice giant Talv in the barren outskirts of the Tythel system in Midonia.

Physical Characteristics

Lumi is an icy terrestrial body largely made up of silicate rocks, enveloped by a dense crust of water-ice. From space, it appears in a white, slightly blue tone, with the terrain interspersed by striking lines. The gravitational pull of Talv has largely guarded Lumi against asteroids, and subsequently, only sparse craters can be found across the surface.

Infrastructure

Lumi's population resides in several vast cities excavated into the frozen terrain across the northern hemisphere, the ice acting as a cheap yet effective protection against solar radiation. They are constructed vertically, reaching hundreds of meters into the ice. In the center is a vast, open space used by businesses and surrounded by residential blocks.

Vibrant nature reserves have been constructed in every city on Lumi, flourishing with countless Kai Särav species, designed to help against the psychological hardships of constantly living in an enclosed space. They are enveloped by screens that accurately simulate the day and night on Kai Sära and are frequently visited by nearly the entire population.
