People settled on the desolate wasteland world of Dunacia, encircling the faint star of Crimelios, shortly following Eventide's establishment on Twilight. The sparse astral resource deposits on the planet would lead to the construction of several extraction outposts in the desolate lands. Robotic laborers operate the surface facilities and are overseen by those that have decided to stay on the planet.

The rusty coloration of the planet is caused by the presence of iron particles in the thin layer of regolith that blankets the greater part of the planet's surface. Billions of years ago, a vast planetary body had collided with the planet, with the debris coalescing into the large rings that encircle Dunacia today.
