People settled on the desolate planet of Dunacia, encircling the faint star of Crimelios, shortly following Eventide's establishment on Twilight. The sparse astral resource deposits on the planet would lead to the construction of several extraction outposts in the desolate lands. Countless robotic laborers operate the surface facilities, overseen by those that have elected to stay on the planet.

The rusty, slightly crimson coloration of the planet is caused by the presence of iron particles in the thin layer of regolith that blankets the greater part of the planet's surface. As a geologically inactive world, the landscape of Dunacia is nearly entirely flat, sparsely interspersed by rocky hills and inert volcanoes. Moreover, a thick atmosphere of carbon dioxide blankets the planet, resulting in the temperatures staying at roughly negative ninety degrees on average.
