The Andromeda Brown Dwarf Exploration Swarm Program, or ABDESP, is a recently formulated mission to map every single brown dwarf in the Andromeda galaxy, M32 and M110. It was official on February 19th 199996.

The mission itself
On November 28th 199998 a large swarm of 1.5 billion self-replicating bots each 5 cm wide would be deployed into the andromeda galaxy. Their main locomotion would be warp drives. They would zoom around Andromeda, M32 and M110. Their task would be to map the sky for any unusually cool objects, mainly brown dwarfs, travel there, document the objects and study them in detail, mainly looking at their mass, radius, temperature and planets.
So far, 8.2 million brown dwarfs, 0.7 million ultracool dwarfs, and 2.7 million sub brown dwarfs have been documented, so have 38 million exoplanets.
