Our Goal
Writing is just downright fun, in particular if someone has an audience for their work. This website is for sharing our stories, fictional worlds, and characters. The reason for this is simple — people passionate about their ideas are fun to talk to!
A Place to Share Your Work
Whether you are just starting out, a seasoned writer, or enjoy reading indie writing, we would love to have you here.
With 3,895 pages on this site, our decade long history of fostering creativity and community is something we are IMMENSLY proud of, and we hope you enjoy your stay!
Scope
This wiki/community's structure relies heavily on a concept of "Scope", which basically serves as our community's fancy term for individual canons or settings.
The primary Owner of a scope has final say on its scope and what is allowed in it. Most scopes are open to collaboration, though you'll want to check the Scope's respective page to see for sure. Making a new scope is HIGHLY encouraged, and we're VERY excited to see what you have in store for us!
Very brief guidelines (all common sense)
How to Share Your Work
To start editing, you need to make an account on this website. Formatting articles is based on the markup language called Wikitext, the same language that powers Wikipedia. It can be daunting at first, so please ask if you have any questions! To avoid it altogether, you can use the visual editor. Afterwards, creating a page is as simple as navigating to the three dots at the top right of every page. We're happy to see what you will create!
Anybody is free to add as much or as little as they want. Don't be afraid to create small pages; we're not forcing you into a part-time job! We've had plenty of passing users who wrote just a couple of small articles, and that's something we encourage here. Try it out, maybe read some other peoples' work while you visit. If the wiki's a place for you, we'll be happy to have you.
If you have any questions, please see our Discord, visit our new site and leave a post, or message Duodecillionaire (@quattuordecillionaire on Discord). We'll try to consistently check the Fandom posts and messages to get back to you, but our discord is much more active.
