The Gold Nebula is a diffuse nebulae in the outskirts of the Mid Arm of the Ambrosia Galaxy. It houses twenty one star systems with the most notable ones being the Zana System.

It holds one planet capable of housing life known as: "Quare-Altum" which itself served as the birthplace of the Thay-Tu, an early type two intelligent species.

Overview

The Gold Nebula is a slightly above averagely large diffuse nebulae that gives off a distinctive gold coloring, giving it its rather uncreative, yet famous name.

Its striking yellow appearance has led it to be a rather famous tourist destination for Ambrosian Nebulae sight-seers. Despite this, the various star systems of the nebulae are barely colonized, as most of them only hold hot desert worlds, or barren Selenas, with the notable exceptions of the Zana System.

Its gasses are mostly made up of the respective chemicals of Hydrogen, Neon, and Chlorine, with trace elements of alcohol spread amongst the darker regions of the nebulae as well.

It was created when an ancient star nicknamed: "Gold" went supernova in 5,000,000,000 BCE, thus causing the large golden cloud we see today to come into existence.

It served as the birthplace of the: "Thay-Tu" an early type two intelligent species of the planet of Quare-Altum in the Zana System that spread themselves amongst the two other aforementioned star systems thanks to them being host to respective oceanic worlds, as they are unable to survive on solid land masses. The nebulae itself would become the most prominent figure in Thay-Tu culture thanks to it being featured as the patron god of their religion(s)

Once the Thay-Tu accepted to join with the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems, control over the nebulae would be given to the aforementioned intragalatic government. However they too would discover that the majority of the nebulae's worlds are not worth the expense of colonization, say for a few colonies, terraformings, and mining operations here and there. So the nebulae has been mostly ignored, left to those who want to visit its golden beauty.
