Description

The Minalig Oligarchy or shortened to MO is a nation goverened by a oligarchy called "The Council". They are located in the Asamun/Binasa galaxy, controling around 150,000 star systems. They're capital is Auhal, a tidaly locked superterra world. They mastered Thaumaturgy long before they left their solar system since there were a series of many progenitors though their history. They are also in a period of expansion of around 2 star system in a year. They have signed a independece, migratory, and peace treaty to Sedrua due of the're similarity. They also has a very high rate of magi of around 1/2 chance.

History

The Minalig Oligarchy was formed around the year 58,160 CE as one of the civilation that rose while the Jyial Imperium was controling the whole Asamun/Binasa. After a while, they are captured by the Jyial Imperium. Most of the're people were lobotimzied into workers that are not capebeble of higher thinking. But unlike most other civilation under the Jyial Imperium, some of them are left as is because the Jyial Imperium needs people on the higher castes. After a few decades, they noticed that even when they work as hard as they can, they havnt raised even a caste up. Beliving that vertical mobility dosnt exist at the Jyial Imperium (which is true), they decided to make a deal with the low castes Jyialn's. If they removed the current goverment and give engoh fuding to them, they will create a new goverment where the caste system will be removed and there will be vertical mobility. Thousands if not milions of Jyialn's took the deal and started rebeling, althoght some moles reported back to the Jyial Imperium and they crushed the rebelions with brutal efficiency. Even with that, some of Minaligs and loyal Jyials escaped. The decided to form the concil, which has many puppet rebelion groups that even the members inside the groups themself dosnt know each other. The concilers cooridnate thousands of coordinated to mostly destroy the Jyial Imperium's military. The rest fall by guerilla forces. After having Jyial Imperium's military destroid, the Jyial Imperium surrendered and hand over most of the're teretory. Nothing much happend from then to now

Goverment

The Minalig Oligarchy is a generic unitary oligarchy, run by The Council. Currently the leader of the Minalig Oligarchy is Yalus. The Council is a cabinet of around 1000 people that can control entire the Minalig Oligarchy. There also exist governers that could sugggest changes to the cabinet. The only way to get in The Council is by being the highest rank of a govenor. then winning a 2/3 vote that happends when a member of The Council dies or resigns, witch happends around every 15 centuries due of genetic engineering, Thaumaturgy and technology.

While it is technically possbile to be a member of The Council without being a Magi, practically its nigh imposible to be a govenor due of the system being biased heavly to Magis, lucky enogh to be at a time where a member at The Council die, and there isnt any better candidate all in the same time.

Area

The Minalig Oligarchy controls the Wester lobe in the Asamun/Binasa galaxy, although there is the ocational outpost outside of the Wester Lobe. The other major area that the Minalig Oligarchy controls is the Bastion Globular Cluster. In the globular cluster, about 50 percent of it is controled by the Minalig Oligarchy and the remaning space mostly empty.
