Overview
Thavma, known also as the Void of Thavma, the Thavmatic Void, and the Thavma Thoroughfare, is the second of the Trilateral Realms; the three predominant macrocosms in which the predestined Line to the End of Imagindarium's Creation would be made manifest. It exists within the metanarrative principle; ontologically situated in the conceptual median between the Realm of Ambrosia "below" and the Realm of Libation "above."
Thavma's function within Creation largely lies periphery to the Realm itself, and is instead within the many realms of Thavma; primarily the Mavimyst of the Great Unifier and the Thirteen Realms of collective Typhonia. These collective macrocosms have long served as the stage for some of the most critical events, entities, and beings to emerge within the annals of destiny.
Void of the Line
While conventional wisdom may suggest that a realm largely devoid of features would be the least critical among the three necessities guiding the fruition of the Ultimate End, such a notion proves to be profoundly misguided. Despite its sparse and incoherent appearance, Thavma occupies a position of immense structural and narrative significance; one far beyond that of Thavma which sits "above" it, and only a rung lower to that of Ambrosia's
In fact: it can be asserted that while Ambrosia is the realm in which the Ultimate End is made manifest; the actual realization of that End would be all-but impossible without the foundational presence of Thavma. Thavma’s significance extends far beyond its metanarrative function as a conduit; it encompasses the actions, trajectories, and transformations enacted by the respective denizens that dwell within the myriad Thavmatic Realms that have been forged within its ill-defined and uncharitable boundaries.
Foremost among the Realms birthed within the formless expanse of Thavma is that of the Mavimyst; the singular creation of the Great Unifier, the authorial hand that governs all conflict and contradiction. As the beyond-omnipotent and eternally active force guiding the Line toward its destined and climactic conclusion, the Great Unifier’s very essence is calcified into a celestial amalgamate within the Mavimyst. This enshrinement renders the Mavimyst the single greatest construct to ever inhabit the Presence of Totality within Creation.
At the heart of the Mavimyst lies the Mysterial Realm of Haven, a world suspended at the absolute metanarrative center of all Imagindarium's Creation. It is here where those fated to initiate the Ultimate End are fostered in order to grow in isolation. Within Haven, these individuals live unknowingly in alignment with the grand patterns woven by the Amaranth-Weave of fate. Their lives, seemingly self-contained in the on-goings of Haven specifically, were in truth inexorably shaped by a deeper authorial purpose. Under the quiet orchestration of the Great Unifier, Haven functioned as both sanctuary and crucible, preparing its inhabitants for the roles they would come to fulfill in the great culmination of Imagindarium's Amaranth design.
Void of the Creators
Whilst made an inherency of Creation since the very beginnings at the Amaranth Conception; throughout both the eras of the Time Before Time — and the proceeding Dawn Epoch — Thavma remained a non-descript realm, devoid of thought, being, or energy. It existed in a state of inert unreality, untouched by intention or form. The sole notable exception to this condition being that during the meander and wandering of the omnipotent Annuat in their forging of the groundwork for the future Trilateral Realm of Typhonia, they carved the Janus Network; interdimensional tunnels which function as Remnant embeds of their former motions throughout the Realm, similarly to every other façade of Creation. This condition persisted until the cataclysmic shattering of the first truly sapient being — the Primeveranth — at the conclusion of the Dawn Epoch.
As the fragments of the Primeveranth's Remnant being dispersed across the structure of Creation, cascading through both Ambrosia and Libation, a significant portion of its Remnant essence drifted into the boundaries of Thavma. Trapped within its macrocosm of unreality, these fragments were held in a suspended, unformed state.
Within Thavma, the residual essence of the Primeveranth began to coalesce, reacting with the dormant void energy and undirected matter scattered throughout the realm. This convergence initiated the spontaneous emergence of various concepts, which began to take form and shape, marking the first instances of directed structure within Thavma’s previously formless expanse. These emergent phenomena represented the initial stirrings of complexity within a realm once characterized solely by its absence of coherence.
Void of the Divine
Key to Creation
Thavma would become the foundational realm in which the divine Typhonians — godlike entities of immense magical prowess — undertook the forging of a complex cosmological structure known as the Thirteen Realms. These thirteen planes of existence, though disparate in nature, are collectively unified by their shared origin and conceptual architecture.
The Typhonians achieved this act of creation by magically manipulating the remnant being of their shattered predecessor, the Primeveranth. Drawing upon its essence — an energy comprised of pure mental possibility — they forged realms from thought-uniform concepts, sculpting vast and looping expanses of land, structure, and elemental nature. Each realm manifested as a unique reality, shaped by the specific mental and metaphysical archetype from which it was derived.
Within these Thirteen Realms, the Typhonians harnessed the conceptual energy gifted by the Primeveranth to bring forth a myriad of lifeforms and sapient entities, collectively known as the Inomeni. These beings were intrinsically tied to the realm of their origin, embodying its core principles and reflecting its inherent properties in their form, temperament, and existential function. The Thirteen Realms thus became not only structured environments but also active expressions of the Primeveranth’s fragmented potential, shaped through the divine will of the Typhonians.
Prison of Self-Making
The Thirteen Realms of Thavma would ultimately become the eternal prison for their very creators. At the end of the Great Age of Typhonia, the ever-present Imagindarium cast judgment upon the Typhonians, expunging them from Ambrosia for all time and confining them within the boundaries of their own creation. Thus, the godlike architects of these realms found themselves trapped within the very structures they had forged from the essence of the Primeveranth.
Now sealed within the Thirteen Realms, the Typhonians and their Inomeni progeny are embroiled in an endless cycle of struggle and dominion. Each seeks to subsume the others and unify the fractured realms under their own rule, believing that such convergence may offer a path to transcendence or reclamation of their former divinity. However, this ambition is hindered by the fundamental nature of their imprisonment.
Bound by the metaphysical laws of the Thirteen Realms, the Typhonians are unable to alter the intrinsic nature or borders of the realms in which they reside. To reshape or merge a realm requires a vantage outside its boundary—an act only possible through access to the raw remnant essence of the Primeveranth. Lacking the capacity to escape their confinement, the Typhonians remain as static forces within a dynamic framework, their power immense yet incomplete, endlessly struggling against one another within prisons of their own design.
Void of Design
The Realm of Thavma consists of an endless, expansive void of unreality, consisting of undetermined and raw being; pure conceptual and featureless existence which is extended to an ill-defined distance. Only sparse Remnants of innumerable forces and facets exist within Thavma, having leaked into the Void from the endless ongoing of Creation. These remain in flickering echoed form, requiring a directed creative intent to form them into coherency. All save infinite visage of Amaranth, although it does not make itself outwardly apparent within the Thavmatic Void.
Void of Intent
Despite the seemingly uncoordinated state displayed by the base Realm of Thavma, its purpose within Creation is of immense significance. In an A'thic principle — one that exists beyond and conceptual perception — Thavma functions as a channel between the conceptual forms of That Which Is, That Which Was, and That Which Will Be. These chronological states of creative intent flows infinitely from the endless immensity of Libation's Great Collective toward both the ancient Typhonia and the latter Ambrosia, which serves as Creation's primary stage where the grand design of the Imagindarium unfolds toward an Ultimate End.
This does not imply that these conceptual entities spatially move from Libation through Thavma into Ambrosia. Rather, Thavma constitutes the metaphysical conduit through which such principles are made transmissible within the greater architecture of being. It is as if Libation the authorial mind; originating all thought, intention, and conceptual potential. Thavma serves as the authorial pen; the mechanism by which abstract potential is inscribed into coherent expression. And finally; Ambrosia functions as the authorial paper; the stage upon which the scribed marks of intent take form and are made manifest. Together, these realms operate in tandem, forming the structural triad through which the preestablished narrative of Imagindarium is authored and enacted within its Creation.
As a result, Thavma’s metanarrative positioning can be better understood as the the conceptual "mid-point" between authorial intent — and the manifest form of Creation birthed from said intent. It bridges the abstract purpose conceived within Libation and the realized structure embodied in Ambrosia. Within this intermediary space, the raw potential of intent begins to take on the contours of form, though not yet fully shaped or defined. Thavma, therefore, is the Realm of transitional inscribing; wherein manifold pure concept begins its descent into expression, filtered through the uncertainties and ambiguities inherent to the act of translation from mind to matter.
