Template:Star SystemArcturus is a large K-type giant and is the brightest star in the bootes constellation, 36.71 lightyears from Earth.
Orbits
Arcturus is orbited by 5 planets as well as many asteroids scattered across the system, likely leftover from formation or the remains of a destroyed planet. The two inner planets are both selenas with the other three being scorched deserts.
Interest
A mysterious temple of unknown origin was discovered on Arcturus 5 and crew members were immediately sent to investigate. The temple is frustum shaped and is made of an unknown metallic material. Closer inspection seems to reveal that it could be mechanical. Theories suggest that it could have been built by the First Civilization.
