Galactography
- Currently defined as all space within a 12,000 light year radius of Earth.
- Currently defined as all space more than 12,000 light years but less than 24,000 light years away from Earth.

Timekeeping
Present Day
- Present day is the year 6800 CE, this being in the same calendar system we use in real life.
Calendar
- In-universe, the Gregorian Calendar has been kept as a unified timekeeping system for simplicity. However, most planets have their own local timekeeping systems and calendars that align more to their orbit and rotation, and a mix of both are used.
Vocabulary
- Matter that contains sporadic nanites connected to one another and to the matter itself by weak energy streams. They are able to alter matter on the zeptoscale by sending near infinitesimal signals through the streams.
Latticed Package
- Package composed of latticed matter that can be expanded when needed, used to compress larger items into a small space, and automatically produced by assemblers if an object is too large.
