Overview
Phayriko Chimara (CA 14) is a female Feyyangi-Vulalopen and Citrine Agent of the Champions of Haven. Born in 2,982 YM in the Imperial Province of Captimia, she is the last surviving member of the once-proud Chimara Royal Family and the final living ember of what once ruled over the former provincial Kingdom of Chimara bearing their title.
Despite her noble lineage, Phayriko Chimara has never ruled a day in her life, having been born more than a decade after the fall of her homeland. Rather than inheriting a throne long since reduced to ruin, she has instead carved her own path upon the ever-changing tapestry of the world. As a Citrine Agent of the Champions of Haven, she has devoted herself not to a lost kingdom, but to the protection of the world itself, ensuring that no other land suffers the same fate as Chimara.
Fall of Chimara
Once a thriving and noble lineage, the Chimaran family stood as their nation's preeminent beacon of culture and influence, the Chimara name tracing their ancestry back to the earliest dynasties of the Known World. However, their fate was sealed during the final days of the Alls-Rule War —a cataclysmic conflict that engulfed the entirety of mortal civilization. The war, fought between the titanic forces of the Westland Empire and the Eastern Union, saw once-great nations fall, and none within the Empire suffered more than Chimara.
The province, which stood on the Eastward side of the Bariquel continent, had its lands constantly ravaged and pillaged by the Rahmielic forces attempting to break into the Imperial heartland of Captimia. Once a proud province of the empire, its strategic location made it a prime battleground for both sides, and in the war’s final days, the Eastern Union launched an all-out invasion, laying waste to Chimara’s lands. The Royal Keep of Yinlao, the heart of its ruling power, was razed to the ground, and with it, the ruling house was brought to ruin.
Chimaran Purge
In 2,970 YM, the Chimaran Purge, as it became known, began as an orchestrated effort by the Eastern Union to ensure no royal Chimaran remnants would survive to reclaim power. The province's nobility was rounded up and subsequently slaughtered, Chimaran cities were left in ruins, and the survivors of the massacre were enslaved or driven into exile. The province itself was reduced to a lawless wasteland, ruled by warbands, remnants of the old armies, and mercenaries seeking profit from its fall.
Yet, against all odds, one ember of the Chimaran royal line endured. Phasarika Chimara, then reigning Queen of Chimara at the time of the province’s fall, managed to escape the carnage, fleeing westward across the Provincial Border into Captimia, the capital province of the Westland Empire.
Seeking asylum, she found reluctant refuge within the Divisional County of Lakenshire, where she was granted protection as a ward of Captimia. Though the Westland Empire sympathized with her plight, it was still recovering from its own devastating losses in the Alls-Rule War and could do little to aid the restoration of Chimara. Thus, the once-proud Queen of Chimara spent the next twelve years in exile, her homeland left to fester as a war-torn ruin.
Birth of Phayriko
Tragedy, however, struck once more. In 2,982 YM, Phasarika Chimara gave birth to her only surviving child and heir, Phayriko Chimara—the last heir to a kingdom long since reduced to ruin. But the toll of exile, hardship, and grief had taken its toll. Phasarika, having clung to life for twelve years solely to preserve the Chimaran name, succumbed shortly after childbirth, her strength finally failing her. With her passing, Phayriko was left utterly alone—a newborn princess in a world that had no throne for her to inherit, no kingdom to return to, and no place for the once-great Chimaran lineage.
Phayriko was subsequently branded as a princess without a throne, the heir to a lost kingdom that existed now only in whispers and fading memories. Raised among the Lakenshire aristocracy, she was granted the finest education and training that the empire could offer, Empress Limethea Silverglow herself took a personal interest in the young heir, often visiting her throughout her upbringing. Though the Empress’s reasons were her own, it was her ultimate wish to see Phayriko one day reclaim control over Chimara, once the Westland Empire was in a position to restore the long-ruined province.
Appearance
Phayriko Chimara possesses a striking and elegant appearance, an embodiment of both her royal lineage and her Vulalopen heritage. Her fur is a pristine shade of silken white, immaculately groomed and possessing a soft, almost ethereal glow when illuminated by light. This ivory coat is subtly tinged with delicate hues of rosy gold along the edges of her ears and tail, giving her an almost celestial radiance.
Her eyes are a mesmerizing shade of deep burnt amber-orange. They are large, expressive, and sharply defined, framed by dark lashes that enhance her already piercing gaze. These amber-golden irises shift between warm and cool tones depending on the light, a trait common among Vulalopen nobility, further emphasizing her regal presence.
