Scope: Imagindarium's Creation
IN LORE ARTICLE CONCERINING IMAGINDARIUM'S CREATION CAN BE FOUND HERE:
Overview
Imagindarium's Creation, sometimes referred to simply as "Imagindarium," is a Scope which has been in active development for the better part of fourteen years. Headed by LordSkorne7, it is primarily divided into the twin settings of Ambrosia and Haven.
The genre of Imagindarium's Creation is extremely varied, and depends on which storyline the article in question is apart of; however, it is mainly divided in respect to the two settings:
- Ambrosia: Ambrosia is a largely a "soft-sci-fi" setting, meaning most things occur in a multi-planetary storyline spread across space, though several fantasy elements can, and do occur. The storyline of Ambrosia is entirely centered and revolves around the "Great Dyad;" the characters of Syx Corsage and Seven Novum. Ambrosia, and the Great Dyad's story serves as the beginning and the End of the Imagindarium's Creation Scope.
- Haven: A largely a "high fantasy" setting, with much of the world being ruled by medieval-esc kingdoms, and magical powers throng, though several sci-fi elements can, and do occur. The storyline of Haven has many different directions and arcs, however, it is mainly centered on the "Champions of Haven," a group of numerous heroes dedicated to the protection of the world.
Imagindarium's Creation is the first universe which comprises the "Amaranth Succession Project", a Bridged-Scope plotline between itself, Cosmoria, and Galvyria, themed around the concept that existence as a "lifecycle," succeeding when the fundamentals of the universe radically shift.
Along with genre, the content-level (as in intended reader age) varies as well. Any article which contains explicate themes, or violent content will have an appropriate reader caution so the respected reader will not encounter any content not suitable.
"Imagindarium's Creation has been in active reboot for the past year, and as such, many articles and content are currently not posted on this site. I promise this WILL change in the VERY-NEAR FUTURE. If you have ANY questions about this Scope, or anything relating to it, please do NOT hesitate to ask me ANYTHING on either of our sites, or our Discord." - LordSkorne7
Major Themes
Imagindarium's Creation exists as a predetermined universe, and is itself a meta commentary on the creative process as a whole, with the majority of its major themes and concepts playing into this idea. This revolves around the concept of existence itself as a vast, layered narrative that transcends the boundaries of traditional reality. It focuses on the interplay of infinite and finite forces, exploring how concepts, beings, and realms of existence are woven together within a cosmic narrative.
The scale of Imagindarium's Creation is immensely vast, with several varying levels of infinity housed within it. As such, it is comprised of an incompressible level of depth in its contents; near-psychedelic in its conceptual extents. Major focus is being put into reader comprehension nonetheless, but it is best for the respected reader to keep this caution in mind at times whilst reading this Scope's content.
"Ultimate End"
At its core, the universe of Imagindarium's Creation is driven by a grand design known as the "Line to the End," the ultimate narrative trajectory leading to a final resolution of all existence. Everything in Imagindarium's Creation is bound to this cosmic endpoint, even if unknowingly, and various forces and entities either work toward or against this conclusion.
This conclusion is known as the "Ultimate End," and is referenced in numerous articles across the Imagindarium Creation's Scope, meaning that the in-universe plotline of this Scope has canonically already concluded, yet is still actively being developed.
"Amaranth"
The concept of "Amaranth" is the single-most pervasive and important facet of Imagindarium's Creation, and itself exists as the encapsulation of the theme of storytelling. It is both the engine, and driving force of everything contained within this Scope, and its namesake is the legacy of our entire community, as Amaranth; the invented term, originated in Imagindarium's Creation. As well, "Amaranth" will be found in the name of numerous concepts within this Scope, and any Bridged-Scope storyline it touches.
The In-Lore article concerning Amaranth as it relates to Imagindarium's Creation is in active development, soon to be released!
How to Collaborate
Imagindarium's Creation is SEMI-OPEN to collaboration. The setting of Haven is OPEN to anyone wishing to Collab, simply write an article and LordSkorne7 is likely to allow it! Whilst Ambrosia is largely CLOSED for collaboration, as to keep the main narrative focused. (This may change in the future)
Rules for Collaboration
As states above, Haven is the setting of Imagindarium's Creation that is currently OPEN for collaboration. However, there are a few rules this Scopes author wishes for the prospective collaborating author to keep in mind:
Familiarize yourself with the setting:
As a large majority of the content of Haven is currently off-site, it may be a bit difficult to do this. I'd recommend reading everything posted thus far, and then asking me (LordSkorne7) on anything you may be confused about.
On just cursory-glance; it's easy for the respected reader to see that Haven is in a high-fantasy setting, meaning technology exists, at best, at a late medieval-level, save any magical or otherwise conceptualized "else-tech." As such, no widespread use of spaceships or laser weaponry in a sci-fi sense is allowed, and may only exist in a historical, non-working fashion. Single characters may use things of this effect, but PLEASE inform LordSkorne7 of what your idea is before implementing if it should contain this.
Familiarize yourself with the scale:
Haven's scale, fully accounted, is VAST. Several levels and locales made of infinity all interact with Haven; however, the storyline of Haven mainly considers the "Known-World," divided into the West and East. Both sides of this Known World has one large continent (Bariquel for the West; Rahmiel for the East) and thousands of outlying islands.
Any major additions to the continents, please inform LordSkorne7 of the idea before doing such. Islands are completely free-game, and can have more or less anything on it, save any other rule violation listed above or below.
Familiarize yourself with the themes:
Similar to the content issue, the theming issue of Haven may be hard to grasp due to the lack of information currently posted. This WILL CHANGE VERY SOON; but in the mean-time, Haven's themes mainly play off of the larger one of the Imagindarium's Creation Scope as a whole. Largely, the most major theme of Haven is the struggle between mortals, and the immortal Divine.
