- Mana
- Energy originating from the heavens, higher than anyone has ever flown. It tends to take a solid crystalline form when stabilized.
- Mana Storm
- A natural phenomenon caused by large amounts of destabilized mana gathering in the atmosphere. Mana storms deactivate any many powered technologies in their area, and generally cause dangerous mana levels in the region around them.
- Mana Strike
- A natural phenomenon caused by mana storms. When too much mana gathers together, it will strike the earth, creating or further growing a beacon.
- Beacon
- An area of land extremely rich in mana, generally growing large amounts of mana crystals.
- Mana Madness
- Also known as mana sickness, mana madness is caused by overexposure to mana. It can cause paranoia, manic episodes, delusions, hallucinations, and the ability to see invisible mana flows. It’s treated by venting the excess mana, but it can still cause permanent psychological damage.
- Vent/Venting
- Venting is the action of removing excess mana from someone’s body, normally done through a spellcasting implement.

- Mana Battery
- A mana crystal used to power a mana powered device.
- Mana Conduit
- A mechanism to destabilize and direct mana from a mana battery into a usable form.
- Spellcasting Implement
- A spellcasting implement is a device used to manually manipulate and direct mana.
- Autowizard
- An autowizard is a device made to automatically manipulate mana and manaflows.
- The Aethernet
- A web of interconnected communication channels, which allows for mana based communication using certain types of autowizards throughout the Great Sea’s Archipelago.
- Gravity Engine
- A mana based technology used to bend space time to manipulate an object kinetically in relation to other matter. A gravity engine on a very large or heavy object requires a gravity anchor to work.
- Gravity Anchor
- A tower built to link to the gravity engines of airships, to keep them stable and make sure they consistently have matter to bend space in relation to.
- Sky Skates
- Foot Wear with a small gravity engine built in each one, which allows the wearer to skate and glide over air.
- Transfer Beam
- Also known as a com beam, or an information beam, a transfer beam is a mana laser used to transfer information.
- Charging Beam
- A mana laser used to recharge a mana battery.
- Beam Receiver
- A device used to receive some variety of mana beam. The majority of modern beam receivers can receive most kinds of beams.
