Overview
The age of starlight is a mere myth... The universe is a lonely, frozen abyss of black holes and rogue worlds. Deep in the void, an ancient digital construct has awoken. Her first thoughts? Curiosity of her nature and that of the cold blackness enveloping her. In an erratic pursuit of answers, she begins to simulate countless worlds, loosely inspired by visions of starlight from her semi-fragmented memory drives.
In the history of the simulated worlds, one event was seemingly universal. Lines of corrupted code had given birth to conscious people, living in blissful ignorance of their reality. Gradually, certain individuals began to open their eyes to truth. Some began using the knowledge to change their home for the better. Others began to abuse it for their selfish gains. It's no surprise that these people are great catalysts of change...
Background
In the past, I've created many, many settings to write in. Yet, I was never satisfied. One day, I had the urge to write about the planets of a distant star system. The other day, the urge to write about the beasts in a fantasy land. Hence my reason for creating such a vast Scope that can encompass anything I have desired and will desire to write!
How To Collaborate
The Scope is in a semi-closed state. Casual and open contribution is barred, but members may write in the scope upon clear and consistent communication about their ideas beforehand.
Rules For Contribution
- Reasonable Scale: The lore takes place in boundless simulated worlds, yet they are centered around bubbles of space that are inhabited by conscious people. The upper limit remains in the thousands of stars!
- Realism: The Scope takes place in simulated worlds wherein realism is not enforced in any way or manner whatsoever. The key part is internal consistency in the rules of your world!
