Abog-yithar is a warm Terra moon and the Nok’Chu-Raa's first attempt at terraforming and colonization.

The Nok’Chu-Raa terraformed this world in the year 10,123 CE, stripping all greenhouse gasses from the planet's atmosphere and extending its day to match that of Chu-Raa by bombarding the planet with asteroids to artificially extend its rotation period.

History

Abog-yithar prior to terraforming.

Unlike its sister moon, Abog-yithar formed from Drekoi's planetary debris field and became the planet's first natural satellite around four billion years ago. Thanks in part to bombardment early in its history, Abog-yithar has a landlocked planetary ocean which almost began to evolve life but due to the location near Drekoi it never evolved anything more than a microbe, and even that went extinct.

The Nok'Chu-Raa landed on the planet on 9,913 CE and began setting up colonies around the planetary ocean in preparation for the inevitable waves of colonists from Chu-Raa. In 9,969 CE many of the planetary governments allocated funds for the terraforming of this moon in the event that terraforming technology ever became viable, which it did around thirty years later. The fund was put towards the development of said technology and eventually the moon was a second world on which the Nok'Chu-Raa could flourish. Abog-yithar is currently one of the most heavily populated colony worlds in the Starbright System.
