Reptilonian

Reptilonian is a term used to describe a group of several closely related species of sapient extraterrestrials native to the planet of Reptilon, that resemble anthropomorphic Earth dinosaurs.

Culture

Reptilonian Culture is one forged by racial distrust and violence, for centuries the various species under the Reptilonian banner struggled for either dominance or coexistence, only for both ways of thinking to prove themselves impractical in the long run.

This contant war leading to brief periods of peace that inevitably crumbles and gives way to more war has had a negative impact on the native populace. Many Reptilonians find themselves in states of depression or hopelessness

Religion

Reptilonians have hundreds of religions from all across their planet, though in modern day only 64% of Reptilonians are religious. Of that 64%, 22% of reptilonians follow a religion known as Archosism, a monotheistic religion centered around the worship of a singular god known as 'Eora' a female deity that created the Reptilonians and their planet from cosmic mud.

Appearance and Biology

All Reptilonians are humanoid, coming from a recent common ancestor that living 16 million years ago that diversified into the variety of Reptilonian species. It is unknown if the different species developed sapience independantly of one another or if the common ancestor was sapient and passed down this trait to its descendants.

Reptilonians appear like outdated depictions of Dinosaurs and other prehistoric life, specifically reconstructions from the 1970s to 1980s.

Notable Representatives

Al’Loh Sorras (Reptilonian Allosaur) Leader of the Reptilon Freedom Fighters, formerly a wealthy and powerful figure, he mostly ignored the Tyrannos’ rise to power, but he eventually lost everything when he spoke against the Tyrannos for deportation of Synapsids and Avians, and afterwards a team of Tyranno Agents destroyed his home, killed his wife and daughter, shot him as well and left him for dead. He recovered however with help from his friend Bronto Thunder and retreated to safety with him.
Bronto Thunder (Reptilonian Brontosaur) An old friend of Allo and the unofficial second in command of the rebellion. He was once the humble owner of a normal tile shop with his fiancé Apatty. He can be quite naive at times which has occasionally caused some near-disasters but he is powerful and very kind-hearted. When the Tyrannos took power he and Apatty took shelter in an underground cavern system in order to remain together as they are separate species from one another and would be forcibly separated or worse. Using his skills in home improvement Bronto renovated the Tunnels into a comfortable and safe place to live, constantly taking in refugees or persecuted folk to live in the tunnels.
Dy’metrah Limbata (Reptilonian Dimetrodon) A genius and well respected scientist and inventor, at least before the Tyrannos took power. Dimetro was immediately critical of the Tyrannos and rightfully so, as they believed Synapsids like herself were a threat to Reptilonian safety and were taking jobs and resources from those who needed it more. Following her criticism, she was suddenly fired from her job and blacklisted from every reputable company or university. And before long Tyranno Agents were tracking her trying to deport her claiming she was in the nation illegally. Thankfully she was able to meet Bronto Thunder before she was caught and offered to be a part of the resistance, using her intelligence to make gadgets and weapons to keep hidden and, if necessary, defend themselves.
Steh’goe Thago (Reptilonian Stegosaur) - Although he isn’t particularly intelligent or brave, Stego is one of the most important members of the DinoSaucers, in addition to his insane strength and near indestructibility, Stego is kind and gentle, embodying the kind of innocence that the DinoSaucers hope to return to the rest of Reptilon. Stego keeps the team grounded and prevents them from getting too pessimistic or depressed.
Trei Serro (Reptilonian Triceratops) - A former Tyranno, Tricero was tasked with finding the DinoSaucer’s base, destroying it, and bringing all the rebels to justice. So pretending to be a refugee he was found by Bronto Thunder who naively took him in. This would’ve spelt doom for the DinoSaucers if it weren’t for the genuine kindness shown to him by the rebels, especially a younger Stego that convinced him to change sides. Tricero’s insider knowledge in Tyranno security and tactics has been one of the teams most important assets, he can also emit vibrations and shockwaves through his horns by using an implant at the base of his frill.
Ikkie Offalmoh (Reptilonian Ichthyosaur) - Prince of the Marine Nation of Panthalassia, Ichy joined the DinoSaucers following the Tyrannos waging war on the marine kingdom with the assistance of his father’s treacherous adviser Plesio. As a prince he is intelligent and reasonable, though he is a prankster at heart enjoying playing jokes on others especially his enemies. He is a skilled warrior and the best fighter on the team. He is also a really good fisherman and cook, preferring to make seafood dishes. He and Teryx have a romantic relationship, though they try to keep it a secret from the others. He can also talk to both Earth and Reptilonian sea creatures
Tearix Arkee (Reptilonian Archaeopteryx) - Princess of Reptilon, Teryx was destined to have a seat at the throne before the Tyranno takeover, where her parents were killed and she barely escaped with her life. She is considered extremely beautiful by Reptilonian standards, with even Rex willing to break his own laws in order to mate with her. She is highly intelligent often helping Dimetro in his lab, utilizing her cunning and creativity to assist with things that stumped even the genius pelycosaur. Despite her royal upbringing and attractive appearance, Teryx is humble and modest, making sure to always present herself ladylike and with grace, even whilst fighting, though if you piss her off enough she’ll go berserk and unleash her full royal power upon you. She is deeply in love with Ichy, though she tries to keep it a secret.
Stijee Molok (Reptilonian Pachycephalosaur) - A rookie DinoSaucer who had to beg Allo to be on the team, despite his lack of skills or smarts. Bonehead's courage and spirit spoke to Allo and he let the kid join, but it wasn't a good idea to let a kid on a rebel fighting force, which led poor Stijee to a young grave.
Genghis Rex (Reptilonian Tyrannosaur) - Ruthless, Cruel, Maniacal, all describe the leader of the Tyrannos accurately. Rex overthrew the government of Reptilon 20 years ago, and has been steadily driving the planet towards annhilation, removing the civil rights of citizens, continuing the destruction of the planet’s climate and provoking the Alliance of Planets into war, (which thankfully for him they haven’t reacted to) He is a ruler that demands respect, though has not earned it. He is not above threatening and punishing even his most loyal supporters for even minor infractions. He has an ego the size of the planet he lords over, with little to no skills to back it up with instead using his supporter’s tactical and combative skills and claiming them as his own doing. Though, His sheer power and possession of a device known as a Devolver renders any need for strategy and tact null, as if he needs to, he will brutalize an opponent so horribly they won’t have much of a chance to exploit those weaknesses.
Ahn Kyloh (Reptilonian Ankylosaur) - Rex’s right-hand lackey and most loyal soldier, though he is not the sharpest spike on the thagomizer. He cares about his teammates seeing them as his family almost, frequently comforting them and offering solutions to problems they may have and is ever the optimist about their plan to win the war and destroy the DinoSaucers. He is also practically indestructible, which helps.
Hadro Quakpoth (Reptilonian Hadrosaur) - A former children’s show entertainer, Hadro’s silly demeanor and love of jokes and humor betray a truly cunning mind, more skilled in hatching schemes and thinking out strategy than even Rex. He has extremely high charisma and managed to sway much of the Reptilonian populace to allow the Tyrannos into power. As such, even though he tends to annoy everyone around him he is the third highest ranked Tyranno after Rex and Ankylo. He is quite protective of children and refuses to take part in anything that may result in the harming of a child.
Brak-eo Titahn (Reptilonian Brachiosaur) - The most physically powerful of the Tyrannos, Brachio is a British thug, and is known for having been the leader of the Reptilon brotherhood a group of radicals who shared the Tyrannos views long before they took power, taking it upon themselves to ‘protect their communities from dangerous ideas’. He has an extremely short temper and is prone to flying into a rage.
Styr Acosawrr (Reptilonian Styracosaur) - Former friend and partner of Tricero, he was promoted to the leader of the entire TyrannoAgent group. He has formed a strong hatred for his former friend, sometimes even abandoning or jeopardizing plans in order to get back at Tricero. Styraco is a skilled mechanic; designing and upkeeping the spacecraft the Tyrannos (and later DinoSaucers) used to get to Earth. And even several robots. Styraco has PTSD from the various shootouts and wars he’s been a part of, and if subjected to enough stress can fly into a insane and violent rage, needing to be calmed down by his team. Though Even when not rampaging Styraco is foul-mouthed, often hurling insults at opponents, he prefers using weaponry and robots in his fights but if needed he can go all out with all the attitude, fearlessness and raw power of any other ceratopsian.
Plesi Necktis (Reptilonian Elasmosaur) - The former advisor to the King and Queen of Panthalassia, Plesio betrayed his countrymen, when he sided with the Tyrannos and gave away all the nations secrets. He is also a genius inventor, though however much of his invention was actually done by him remains to be seen. He is quick to form his own schemes and work apart from Rex’s orders, and has even tried to kill Rex and take control of the Tyrannos on several occasions, though always manages to weasel his way out of any consequences. He has the ability to communicate with sea creatures as well.
Terrible Dactyl (Reptilonian Pterodactyloid) - Rex’s most skilled and ruthless scout/informant, Dactyl, is a master of aerial combat and espionage. Though he does possess some level of honor as he will not harm children, and has a particularly soft spot for his adopted children of which he has several.
