Yavalith is a Void Island in the Volyveef Void Archipelago, located within the Sky River, and homeworld of the Koralai Kinde. Covered in vast arrays of coral which connect all life, Yavalith has been described as a world which is arguably sentient in it's own right.
It is the centre of the Yavalith Protectorate - A minor Sphere, whom's entire purpose is the defence of Yavalith at any and all costs. All operations taken as part of the Protectorate are in the name of ensuring that Yavalith is secure from Voidsea, Realmlands, Diplomatic, Imperial, or astrological threats.
All information about Yavalith comes from Breakaway Koralai, as the Protectorate does not allow outside forces within it's territory for any reason - According to the Breakaways, this is to hide the location of the world, which would make any invasion harder.
Description
Yavalith has been described as a world completely covered in both coral, and the Koralai. Each individual Koralai is made up of hundreds of thousands of polyps, which all have their own thoughts and ideas - The amalgamation of these polyps is then the make-up of each individual Koralai. This same process is described as being the case for the entire surface of the Void Island. The Coral and Koralai are able to share thoughts via their equivalent of a neural network, which connects to them in the same way as each polyp connects to make each individual Koralai. The end result is a near Hive-Mind mentality, and a Void Island that could almost be considered alive in it's own right.
The entire surface of Yavalith has been colonized by coral - And according to Breakaways, the coral has even expanded to colonize underneath the crust, reaching down into the mantel, using coral which has specifically adapted to survive such extreme conditions. This is apparently due to a desire to harvest the resources found there, to adapt new types of coral for colonization attempts, and to eliminate any potential geothermic threats.
Yavalith is located within it's Void Archipelago's primary Void Reef. This highly unusual location has actually provided Yavalith with a unique advantage - Any attempts to reach it must go through the Reef, which has been colonized, and organized into a series of defensive platforms. This would ensure massive casualties before Yavalith has even been reached.
