The Berry Galaxies are a pair of interacting irregular galaxies located just outside the Flower Subgroup. They are home to many civilizations and species. The collision between them has led to beautiful but violent star formation along the border between the galaxies. |

The cluster's powerful gravity pulled the cloud toward itself and compressed it, triggering a second wave of star formation. The first sapient species within the cluster looked to the skies to beautiful newly born nebulae and a wave of bright stars, spurring on their dreams of ascension to the heavens. |

Their high technology was assimilated into the Alliance, and Arkenstas was destroyed as the Lareas Alliance fell to the Swarm. The Apsila Galaxy, being just as old as the Pathos Galaxy, is similarly metal-poor, slightly more so. The Apsila Galaxy is much smaller as well, and it would be utterly war-torn if it weren't for the fact that is fully controlled by one nation. Apsila's old stars are almost all Population II, and have very few metals within them, meaning that despite its size, the Lypan Technocracy is not very advanced. However, the collision between it and Pathos has raised the metallicity in some areas, and many massive stars were born, which has allowed the technocracy to gain a lot of energy as well as more resources. |
