This is the origin of the belief of "Terranism." From the old word for "rock," Terranism is the belief that all of those on Aegyn are descended from Mars and are destined to defeat the Administrator one day. Since the language had drifted greatly, the original name of "The Administrator," was lost. As Aegyn was conquered by the [[Triumvirate Civilization]], which was partially ruled by the very same Administrator, most of those on Aegyn did not identify the identity with that ancient antagonist. Terranism nearly went extinct as the Triumvirate's state religion of Ibaradism took hold over the planet. |

In the modern day, Aylathiya has largely expunged from itself the religions of old. Those ancient religions, arbitrarily defined as "pagan" by practitioners of Ibaradism and Aeternalism, were at one time the dominant belief system. While undoubtedly many pagan religions have been influential, none have quite shined as brightly as Rubedism. Forming amongst Humans on Aegyn, the religion would go on to gain a massive following as the church gained power within Erstes Konsortium.
Gran Rubedo represented the end state of paganism within Aylathiya. The religious order, devoted to their patron deity of Mars, stretched across nearly all of Martial Space. The nation was highly belligerent and, as history went on, ever-increasing devotion to their pantheon resulted in great inefficiency. Their nation would be conquered by the largely secular Tenshi and split between it and the Ursa Syndicate, which formed the Dominion of Astraeus in 9001 CE.
Human Paganism
With interstellar civilization having only just collapsed, the survivors on Aegyn passed the time regaling about the old days. Occasionally, the planet would be visited by nomads, merchants, or travelers. While these visitors often had unreliable information, they had a tremendous influence on the culture of Aegyn. By the time local government collapsed, visitors stopped coming, but the updates on galactic affairs remained in the public conscious.
Children that never knew the technology of their forefathers heard stories around the fire for generations. As the remnants of civilization gave way to a natural environment, the people of Aegyn preserved the stories with remarkable consistency. Stories about traveling through the cosmos became about divine struggles, races of supernatural beings, and warriors. Warlike and violent, the diverse mythoi that developed across Aegyn universally contained imagery of a lone figure standing up against an evil force.
The story was based on the very real Hal Drusus, who was a high-ranking official within Ohko's Civilization. Drusus held wide renown within the civilization, most notably for his incredible Thaumic abilities. After The Administrator laid waste to Ohko's Civilization, Hal Drusus stood up the entity in a legendary battle that, while likely ahistoric, is taught throughout Martial Space as a sort of founding myth even today. While ultimately losing to the Administrator's superior thaumic abilities, the myth deeply infiltrated the culture of Humans across Martial Space, but especially on Aegyn.
