Deities

The Inverium religion has 3 gods in its main branch with an extra god in all the Vum branches. The 3 main gods are Opyue, Oralla and Paxum. Oralla and Paxum are a wedded couple who together form Opyue. In prior ages of the religion Opyue was depicted as swapping sex every week and at the final day of the week splitting into Oralla and Paxum once more. Due to this incosistent gender and sex Opyue ended up being reformed as a genderfluid deity in the modern day religion. Some artists even make it a point to depict him differently each and every time he's shown.

In some branches of the religion Opyue isn't viewed as an actual god and is instead viewed as the relationship between Oralla and Paxum, naturally neither of these branches are more correct than the other, though the "original" branch was the one to contain Opyue as central god.

The extra god mentioned prior is exclusive to the Vum branches and is known as J-J. They are known as the divine watcher and are even placed above Opyue in ranking. They have no reason to truthfully be part of the religion however they're still mentioned as an explanation as of to why Oralla and Paxum are.
