Description

Eulciar is a abnormally large irregular galaxy orbiting the Tarmalyula, in Amoeni Space. It is the farthest of Tarmalyula's two satellites, as well as the largest. Eulciar houses over 5 billion stars, making it one of the largest irregular galaxies in the known universe.

History

Eulciar has had three eras in its history - the Ancient Era, the Stellar Era, and the Current Era.

Ancient Era - 6 545 000 000 BCE to 6 000 000 000 BCE

First, the Cosmos was created. Then Eulciar formed. Then life arose, and things happened. And that is it. We know basically nothing about the Ancient Era, as all records and artefacts were destroyed by the Mors Omnium Event.

Stellar Era - 6 000 000 000 BCE to 2 000 000 000 BCE

During the Stellar Era, there was no life in the Eulciar. All had been wiped out by the Mors Omnium. The blast of energy that did this also destabilised the equilibrium of most stars, and so the galaxy became a incredibly active starforming galaxy. Planets were rare, and the most complex life to evolve on any world in the galaxy was a small moss that grew orbiting a yellow dwarf that only barely counted as part of the galaxy.

Finally, after six billion years of continuous star formation and destruction, enriching the galaxy with transition and heavy metals, the stars stopped exploding. The Stellar Era enriched the galaxy with complex chemicals and molecules, making life not only possible, but the most likely outcome.

Current Era - 2 000 000 000 BCE to 100 000 CE

In the current Era, peace and prosperity rule supreme. Due to the EUN, wars are rare but trade and travel sanctions do exist. In recent years many civilizations have sprung up, which have proceeded to enlighten other civilizations, providing a chain reaction of life and prosperity.

Orbital Parent and Sister Galaxies

The Tarmalyula

Tarmalyula is the Eulciar's orbital parent, one that Eulciar is scheduled to leave as its orbit is disrupted by the presence of the Lance Galaxy.

The Lance Galaxy

The Lance Galaxy is Eulciar's older sister - a ancient elliptical galaxy that is going to collide with Tarmalyula some time in the not-to-distant future (cosmologically speaking).
