History

When she was 15 her powers activated while she was playing a game of basketball, her team was losing by a single point and the clock was ticking down. So out of desperation she threw the ball, to hopefully make a basket, though instead her arm grew in length until it reached the opposing hoop and she was able to make a slam dunk from 15 feet away.

Immediately everyone in the stadium began to freak out, the dunk was counted as a foul and Arielle's team lost the game. The loss combined with her powers caused her friends, team-mates and even her family to not want to be anywhere near her. Her parents, staunch anti-deviants kicked her out and Arielle would have had to live on the streets if she hadn't been found by Manaia Kahurangi and taken to the Aetis Academy.

Extreme Cold - Extreme Cold will cause Arielle's elastic cells to become frozen and rigid, which prevents her from stretching, and should she be exposed to these conditions long enough, she well freeze in place.
