Argothiya is an average-sized star in Aylathiya home to both the Viphians and the Timporians. Unlike most of her neighbors, Argothiya's residents mostly reside in space habitats. With so much of the population and infrastructure in space, Argothiya became the logical choice to put the capital of the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya. The gas planet of Vossen hosts impressive megastructures and nearly half a trillion inhabitants.
Occalia

Occalia is the home of the Timporians and a high-energy ecosystem in which distinctions between "producer" and "consumer" organisms do not exist; a single species fulfills all niches throughout its life cycle. Every so often, Occalia's ecosystem resets, preventing speciation as an extinction event erases all mutations which threaten the single organism. The Timporians represent the intelligent phase in the life cycle and take their purpose as Occalia's caretakers seriously. Eqeyuana, a state in the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya, controls Occalia. Currently, Occalia's ecosystem is far more prosperous than it ever has been as Eqeyuana uses its assets to make the planet ever more hospitable.
Occalia has two moons—Camelt and Xolt.
Yuhapta

Despite proximity to Argothiya, Yuhapta's thing atmosphere renders it a cold world whose temperatures never allow for liquid water. However, without enough liquid methane to sustain a significant cryospheric ecosystem, the world remains barren. Life on Yuhapta was only discovered one thousand years before the present day and, by then, significant populations had already settled on the planet.
Vossen

Vossen is a large gas giant that contains more mass within it than twice that of its fellow planets. With many minor moons and eight major satellites, Vossen had long since been a target for colonization by both of Argothiya's species. By 9500 CE, more people lived around Vossen and its moons than on either home world. Since its moons made transportation, communication, and manufacturing much easier, it naturally grew to dominate the politics of the system. One of the largest megastructures, by sheer mass, is the Vossen Bands, two orbital rings that stretch across the planet. Cells suspended in Vossen's atmosphere represent most of the biomass in the Argothiya system. Vossen is the seat of the Suvaren Federative Republic, the Commonwealth's federal territory.
Vossen has eight large moons—Roki, Ai, Pekoe, Boa, Gumi, Yowacht, and Kovosch.
Sechfier

Sechfier is a small desert world that clings onto a thin atmosphere despite its weak magnetic field. Single-celled organisms thrive in seasonal ponds that form at the poles. In the summer, they gather all the needed nutrients to brave the harsh winters. The small cells completely dry themselves out before freezing, bypassing what would otherwise be deadly ice crystal formation.
Kajupto

Kajupto is a dry nutrient poor world home to a low-energy ecosystem in which classical predator-prey relationships are uncommon. Given the dim light it receives, there is not enough plant life to sustain what would normally be called "animals." However, massive, slow growing plants dominate the oceans and taking up every bit of area they can. Their highly evolved defense mechanisms make life in the oceans difficult. Most plants spend centuries accumulating enough energy to release spores onto land. These mobile spores compete for resources and create a unique terrestrial ecosystem in which gathering nutrients, not energy, is the greatest goal. The Viphians, the sapient spore stage of the most common plant, evolved cooperation and intelligence, converting their world into a powerhouse ruled by the state of Celathiya.
Kajupto has one moon, Nacre.
Abridged History
Astropolitics
Until fairly recently, Argothiya was far from the political and economic titan it is today. When Sedrua first conquered the system, they named it Argent Aylathiya, implying it was of a lesser quality than other star systems. Its humble origins kept it out of the fray in Sedrua's civil wars, slowly increasing its relative strength. Argothiya had over one trillion inhabitants by 9700 which only increased as Dominion forces flattened world after world during the War of the Ancients.
During the occupation period, Argothiya's population ballooned as did its economy. With access to cheap labor from the constant flow of immigrants, Vossen in particular exported trillions of tons of products. The oft-overlooked system was also the locus of separatist movements from the Greater Martial Consilium, then Aylathiya's hegemon. Despite the Consilium's efforts, cultural, political, and economic dominance was impossible so far from their core worlds, so they eventually chartered the creation of the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya. Vossen, Argothiya was the logical capital. Unlike all other major worlds, its diverse population could not claim sole ownership of the planet. Save for Viphian nationalists from the outer system, Vossen was devoid of species-based identity.
The Suvaren Federative Republic now has the herculean task of maintaining dominance as the rest of the Commonwealth rebuilds. Even just within Argothiya, the states of Eqeyuana in the inner system and Celathiya in the outer system threaten Suvaren's status.
