Arlioux is an orange dwarf whose outermost worlds became a fine dust a few billion years before the modern day. While this makes placing stations in the outer system difficult, it represents a valuable store of resources. Arlioux has a small population, but a fairly large economy thanks to the extractive ventures of the outer system and financial centers in the inner system. Arlioux is beset by the hastily created treaties forming the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya; the Confederacy of Borealis refuses to acknowledge any treaties that does not give it full sovereignty over the system. The resulting legal grey area has left Arlioux's worlds divided between many competing interests.
Thalsiedeln

Thalsiedeln was the first world Humans stepped foot on beyond their home system. Their arrival was immediately problematic as native Kalar and Kristal populations had resided on the planet for generations. Centuries of settler colonialism, civil war, and foreign occupation gave way to an independent Thalsiedeln. A council of republics, despite domestic rule, pillaged just as much as before. The hyper-commodification of land and transformation of every square inch into property ultimately handicapped the economy. When the Euphony Civilization entered the system, Thalsiedeln buckled under the pressure. A hybrid coup and revolution established Aylathiya's first socialist state, a bloody affair that would ultimately lead to the Confederacy of Borealis, so named for its position in galactic north.
Thalsiedeln is currently jointly-administered by the Confederacy and the Aurora Commission.
Klepse

Klepse is a desert world, whose windswept surface is covered in dunes hundreds of meters in height, some of which span from pole to pole. Its atmosphere, thin but breathable by most, is maintained by the photosynthesis of its sand grains. The sands of Klepse is a fine powder of microorganisms with a hard glass-like shell. As its oceans dried billions of years ago, the microbes evolved to retain as much water as possible. All of the planet's oceans ended up contained within these microbes, including valuable deposits of dissolved lithium. Despite the dangerous conditions, Klepse is a hotly-contested world split between several baronets who report to the Klepsen Count.
Thanatos

Thanatos is an airless world. Ancient settlers from the Triumvirate Civilization, reinforced its largest lava tubes and pressurized them, creating dark caves perfect for intelligent species who evolved in dark cold environments. Most of the population today are Vrede, who prefer inert atmospheres free of oxygen. More remote tunnels have been lit and filled with various atmospheres of every gas imaginable, one was even flooded for the Kyan settlers. The province of Amalga rules much of Thanatos, giving the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya control of this world.
Ivotsh

Ivotsh is the site of multiple ongoing projects. One of the longest terraformation efforts in history, states have been changing the world on and off for five thousand years. Currently, Lowyzol rules the planet, an important factor in its second project, a cultural one. With a small minority of Zythyns, it was hard for Lowyzol to justify its rule. The planet's population, a mix of Skladyvat, Vrede, and Arkhosians, has a strong identity, a different religion, and society. This mostly rural population has opposed, often militantly, the introduction of seas that would destroy their settlements. The last project is the compromise, brokered by the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya, that seeks to create a robust ecosystem with minimal disruption, keeping most of the planet very dry and the seas contained to one hemisphere.
