Dragonborne

Dragonborne are a species of artificially-created sapient reptile bred by the Progenitors. Native to Earth, they exist in a multitude of different Breeds or Morphs.

History

Dragonborne were developed by the Progenitors about 20,000 years ago, by modifying the genome of the common Morrowlean Marsh Strider and mixing it with the DNA of various Dragon Species for aesthetic reasons. The Dragonborne, alongside the Saurians and Fae were created to be servants, disposable workers and novelties.

Appearance and Biology

Dragonbornes have a wide-variety of physical appearances depending on their breed, (there being seven known pure-breeds, Regal Drake, Raincaster Dragon, Morrowlean Drake, Crimson Drake, Weeprian Dragon, Scaleless Dragon, Woolly Drakon and cross-breeds between the purebreds)

However all Dragonborn are fundamentally similar being tall, humanoid creatures, ranging from 6 to 9 feet tall and attaining a healthy weight of 200-300 lbs.
