An extraterrestrial organism from an unnamed planet that was destroyed by its own sun. The organism that would become Zerocuras fed on the minerals within the asteroid that now contained it as it drifted aimlessly through space.

Eventually in 2016 the asteroid crashed onto Earth, specifically near Bear Lake in Northern Utah. The Meteor broke apart and released Zerocuras from within, at which point the organism began to search for biological material to consume and assimilate. The organism consumed various insects, lizards, and rodents, assimilating their DNA and incorporating it into its own body, making it larger and more adept at killing. Zerocuras moved up the food chain, consuming birds, mustelids, raccoons, coyotes and others. Now capable of flight and resembling a winged, reptilian weasel, Zerocuras began focusing on accumulating biomass. Zerocuras began raiding farms and ranches consuming cattle, horses and other livestock en mass, along with any unfortunate humans it came across.

Soon, the creature was 300 feet tall, 600 feet in length and 60,000 tons in weight and began heading West towards Los Angeles where it was sighted. Upon being seen, both news and the government began tracking the creature dubbing it Zerocuras. All attempts to kill, stop or slow the creature was ineffective.

Eventually it did manage to reach Los Angeles, which was in the middle of an evacuation. The SDR deployed 3 local heroes to deal with the monster and protect civilians. But the available heroes were unable to inflict any meaningful damage upon the monster, and the government was prepared to launch a nuclear strike at the city.

Zerocuras currently resides on Monster Island, where it is held in a maximum security facility to ensure that it never escapes
