Galaxies (Two)
In high-latitude equatorial orbit of the Sky River
The Twins of Time are a pair of nicknames given to two lone galaxies that orbit the Sky River Cluster Gyre. These galaxies are named Fyrrirum and Ørlogrum.
Both of these objects were brought towards the Sky River by way of the Confluence attracting them to the Thalweg. Both avoided being pulled into the Sky River itself, or the Sky Shore. Instead, they remain entirely geographically isolated within the Voidsea.
Upon observation, one would not notice anything out of the ordinary, because there is, in fact, nothing out of the ordinary about them on their own - At least, no more than anything else in the Valhallan Age. However, the oddities that arise from them come not inherent to the galaxies themselves, but rather, their peculiar relationship to the Sky River and the Sky Shore.
Both galaxies are connected to both their local Cluster Gyres by way of Temporal Wormholes - Fyrrirum being connected to the Sky River, and Ørlogrum to the Sky Shore. When traversed, these wormholes do not simply change location, but the time-period in which one emerges. In the case of Fyrrirum, this dates to 7,568 standard years in the past. In the case of Ørlogrum, the exact time is unknown, but it is thought to be extremely far into the future.
