Byutix, Helyar's elder sister, is a star far more senescent than its six billion year age would hint. Where Helyar's worlds have remained inhabited even after great disasters, there have been periods where Byutix has had zero inhabitants. The two species calling Byutix home, Huefolk and Skladyvat, emerged in a system already plundered. With civilization dating all the way back to ancient Hyperion, Byutix had never known rest these past 100,000 years. Byutix endured particularly heavy bombardment by the Andvaris Swarm, Omnite spending thousands of years chipping away at the system's resources, and large scale experimentation by Sedrua.

After switching hands many times, always going to whoever controlled Helyar by default, the Thulcandran Federation created a modern self-ruling state around Byutix. Inspiring others, Byutix is now home to several self-ruling groups, nations, and peoples, almost all of whom were new immigrants just a few centuries prior. Despite being so old, Byutix's population is young and unstable, attempting to create an identity for themselves in a galaxy full of systems who are, in this sense, far older.

Simud
Simud is a desolate world which, despite its strong magnetic field, was still far too close to hold onto anything but a thick carbon dioxide atmosphere. Despite this, Simud has become a hot spot for agriculture in the Byutix system. With its polar ice melted, domes take advantage of abundant carbon dioxide and sunlight to grow large crops. It imports megatons of organic material every year and, in exchange, exports crops of all kinds. Talks of terraforming Simud have started on and off, but its population is far too meager to justify the cost.

Heuser
Heuser, home world of the Huefolk branch of Humanity, was once a world abounding in seas of liquid water, dense vegetation, and a robust ecosystem. While today, a few species cling on under kilometers of rock, the surface is bare. Multiple waves of destruction have struck Heuser. The first punishment was by the Andvaris Swarm, although the planet quickly recovered. The next bombardment came with Sedrua, its architects brutally suppressing the development of Thaumaturgy. Around this time, Omnite formed. This clandestine group formed to suppress the existence of Thaumaturgy, Spirits, and extraterrestrials to keep the Huefolk safe. They soon came to dominate the entire system, including imprisoning the Skladyvat on their home world to keep up the narrative. They waged centuries of guerilla war against the Triumvirate Civilization, only to get them to relent after comparatively modest damages. Then, came Gran Rubedo who responded immediately with violence when Omnite refused to convert to their religion. As Omnite resisted, Gran Rubedo flattened everything it could find. Using the power of Mars on an entire planet, they used their war against Omnite as a propaganda tool. When Mars was finished, the seas and atmosphere were entirely gone.

Delkash
Delkash is so gravitationally dominant in the Heuser system that each other planet has a significant wobble as they struggle against their rotation to point toward the gas planet. Delkash maintains the Vernal Belt, a somewhat temperate "ring" of asteroids it drags along as pseudo-moons. Its orbit is crowded, a blessing and a curse for those residing on the planet's moons. Dust makes station-keeping expensive, forcing most to remain on the ground. Delkash hosts a number of new nations bursting with energy creating a competitive environment. As most of the mass orbiting Byutix lies around Delkash, so does its wealth, population, and culture.

Ebrost is the innermost major moon and is the smallest. Associated heavily with the nobility on Eos, Ebrost gets preferential trading rights with other star systems. Thus, its economy is based around its mighty spaceports, so large despite the small client base. Dystoria remains uninhabited as per the treaty ending Byutix's last war, the conflict between Ebrost and Kalent. Kalent has a large population and a centrally-planned economy ruled by rogue nobles from Eos. As if to prove their legitimacy, they refuse to do business with Ebrost and have made the rest of the moons suffer as a result. Igtolosh is the most massive moon as well as the farathest from Delkash. With a large Kyan population and warm fusion-reactor-heated seas, Igtolosh is the primary buyer of Ebrost's imports and is its traditional ally.

Orethus
Orethus' meager gravity could not hold onto its seas and atmosphere for long. Life sprung up on this world in those seas, but slowly moved underground as they dried up. Orethus' surface temperature fell, but deep moist caverns underground remained habitable. In this environment, the Skladyvat evolved cellulose skin analogous to paper. While resistant to tearing in low gravity dry environments, it has forced the Skladyvat to remain isolated from other species.

After a long period in which Omnite occupied Orethus, the Skladyvat took the chance to leave their home world in large numbers. With their "new" home world of Ivathiya becoming quite crowded, many have been returning to their traditional home system. Much like the Humans returning to their home in Helyar, tensions have increased. Orethus is currently under the control of the Archorethus.
Byutix, Helyar's elder sister, is in many ways more senescent. Where Helyar's worlds have remained inhabited, most of Helyar has been reduced to dust.

All that remained was Omnite, who quickly began rebuilding. About one billion live deep underground, most of whom believe they are on the surface and living in an age of early steam power. Byutix's single military base from the [[Greater Martial Consilium
