The Astros Sector is a region of space found roughly 90,000 light-years away from the Verda Stellar Neighborhood, making up roughly 1/26th of the galactic ring of the Silky Way. It is adjacent to the Hiram, Kishase, Venette and Ilos sectors.

The Astros Sector, despite its distance from the Ervo Sector, is very well known to its peoples, as this region was the site of the beginning of the FSS Kareland's voyage across the galaxy. Kareland spent four years in this sector, traversing the distance from Amana to the border of the Venette Sector deep within Void space.

There exist several seed clusters within the borders of the Astros Sector, but the three most well known are the Karvel Cluster, Lowiras Cluster, and Callurim Cluster, three regions of space each populated by a wide variety of peoples. The Karvel Cluster, while officially controlled primarily by the various Karvel Clans, is populated by several other species as well, including the Civorans, Edorak, and Kavaeans alongside the dominant Talasens. Meanwhile, the more sparsely populated Lowiras Cluster is dominated by the Krazalans and Revacens, with any other species making up a small minority. A sight very rare among the known populated seed clusters, the vast majority of the Lowiras Cluster is under the legal control of Celeas, a powerful, autocratic state. The Callurim Cluster's status as a seed cluster is not actually clear, as only two native species were found within its borders during Kareland 's passage through the region. Callurim is also much smaller than most seed clusters such as the Apple Nebula, Vernarca Nebula, and the two other notable clusters in this sector.

The only exploration of the Astros Sector by the states which now make up the Grand Alliance (an alliance of states in the Ervo and Hinthorn sectors) was in the form of the FSS Kareland's voyage through the region.
